I'm not switching to Kesso because I believe Ruse's stupid reveal for the most part and there are just better odds with lynching Shadow.

To be honest, I am more suspicious of Kesso, and I would LOVE if Ruse came back and changed his provisional to include contingencies to guard Shadow. I got the distinct impression from him that that wasn't going to happen, but I'm cool to wait.

Though I can't shake the feeling that there are three scum out there (Kesso, Ruse and another) and Ruse is just pushing us get one more bad lynch...

since you think kesso is the best choice, I think you need to switch - the Ruse situation is unfortunate, but we really need the lynch.

Though I guess I am more inclined to believe Shadow at this point, Ruse's reveal doesn't seem right to me... why would losing some random amulet make him a guard...
Someone was saying that today was D-day or something and I think that Ruse and Kess might be partnered..

I'm back. I'm not sure, HP's suggestions on the Shadow-Kess thing appear sensible, but I want to wait a while longer to see if Ruse shows up.

Annoyingly, both Kesso and Shadow are being calm and sensible about this whole thing.

I have this nagging feeling that we're not putting something very logical together.

1) Ruse is actually guarding Kesso and isn't guarding a totally different person he didn't want to talk about on thread.

2) Ruse hasn't just made the whole damn thing up.


I really don't trust Kesso's reveal. Even when he did it, it didn't seem like a reveal, it just seemed like he was almost bleating on that he thought everyone lookied like scum to him. Then someone said 'hang on, is that a reveal?', and Kesso appeared to latch on to it and go with it. At least, that's how it appeared to me, but I have been totally wrong about pretty much everything so far.

At this point in the game, we can't take a reveal at face value just to test it...

Does anybody think there could be 3 scum left? It would mean we would have had to have start with 5 and not have hit any symps along the way.

Both of those points seem to be countered by the fact there are so many night kills. I mean, we've hit confirmed scum 2/4 days, which is pretty damned good. It would seem a little harsh to expect us to go through 3 more days hitting a scum every time. And also, there have been so many night kills, it's very possible a symp has been hit or one was lynched.

It seems impossible that there are 3 scum left, but I can't get it out of my head. What do people think?

But you can. If Shadow CFs inno and we get 2 scum kills, then you know who your scum are. It's 3-2 and you take them down, given that a single killer doesn't get 2 kills by himself.

It seems unlikely to me also. As I said though, I have this nagging feeling we're looking in the wrong place.

Speaking of looking at something different, can anyone explain why there was only one kill the second night? Oh yes, Ruse says he had a BP. And the third night (aside from the vig)? Well, what's with that? Why was there only one death on night 3?

Night 1: Korlat and Tennes

Night 2: Emurlahn (Ruse kill attempted)

Night 3: Gamelon and Meanas(vig) - So, where is the second scum kill here

Night 4: D'riss, Korvalain

Either they were blocked, someone was healed, or there's something even fishier going on....

Unless of course we're saying we've had a vig EVERY night...

Okay, even though everyone went silent, I think I've convinced myself there aren't 3 scum left. In which case, I believe we can afford to test Ruse's claim. I would really like to lynch Shadow if Ruse doesn't come back, as it simply gives us more information and possibly more people alive for tomorrow.

Also, I really don't think if Ruse was telling the truth about his guard, he would say he's guarding Kesso and then actually guard someone else. He really didn't seem like he had a lot of time to think things through that far when he was online. Plus, with 2 kills, what's the point? Blocking a killer blocks a kill. Why lie about that?
