You are a Librarian. You are a Monk of the Path (Town)
You have been living at the monastery for longer than anyone else. At least you think so - it's hard to tell behind the masks. Unfortunately you have no magical aptitude, but decided to stay on after you discovered your love of the literary arts. You have been the custodian at the library for most of your life. In your youth you discovered a book that details the summoning of assassin demons. The rituals are so simple, even you could do a summoning. Despite the fact monastic law states the book should be destroyed, you hid it away in case it would ever be needed. But over the years you eyesight has deteriorated to the point that you cannot read anymore. However, at night you may tear one spell out of the book and slip it under another player's door, granting them one night kill. You may perform this action twice.
However, just as you've all taken off your masks, a trader comes to the monastery selling the just-invented "eyeglasses". You decided to barter several library books in exchange for the glasses, which now let you read the summoning book perfectly well, meaning that you don't have to screw over your team by giving the killing power to the wrong person
Great role, I especially like that last part, thanks.
So, on a serious note, if I happen to give the power to someone who can already kill, does that mean they could kill twice in one night? If so, it might act as a sort of 'finding' power too.
I guess ultimately I'll give it someone who's case I agree with but they don't manager to get their suspect lynched. Hey ho, off to slaughter this old librarian go.
Hehe. Both scum or inno will be able to use the vig that you hand out. Remember you only have two, so use them wisely.
From Bent, finally getting the jist of his role. Still a little confused though. It is a new role, so I'm gonna help them a little till they've gotten their heads around it.

You guys asked for a little clarification, so in simplish english - your roles work as follows:
Assassin - vanilla scum, except one of the other scum must take his place if he dies.
Inverter - if the target is targetted by any other magic, they will die
Voider - Blocks any magic except for the assassin's kill.
The voider gets priority in resolving the NAs, so voider + inverter wont result in a kill, since he technically blocks the inverter too.
SO if I use my power on Fener and a finder tries to do a find will he get no result?
Yep...
But Feners action still goes through, right?
Yep
clarify one more time, because my pm says only the assassin action is unaffected...shit I sound like an idiot, or should I read it as....I only afect the actions on a person and not that persons action. IE if I use my power on the finder, the find would go through, but a heal on him wouldn't...sorry, new role to me, gotta get hthis straight in my head.
Dunno if venge replied to this, but yes, that's the general idea. And your confusion is forgiven, I made the role specifically for the game, dont think it's been done before. Have fun with it.

Ok, so here is my real power. If I target Kess and so does a finder or gaurd, the finder gets no find, the gaurd doesn't gaurd whoever I use my power on. Yet, the kill would still go through. It wouldn't work on you Fener, because it only lets the kill go through. SO i need to use my power on Kess every night as long as I can, to keep him hidden and kep him killing. Deep. Sorry about the confusion.
Not quite - the first part is right but not the second. If you target either of your scum-mates they can both still act, but be protected from other actions. If you and Fener both target the same person you will cancel Fener's power, but if you and Kesso both target the same person, kesso's power will still go through.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.
