Back on topic....

Wolverine which should have been awesome, was just sort of passable at best.

I'd say it was better than passable, but I agree it should have been better. Just a few severed limbs flying through the air would improve it no end. Then again, I suppose that applies to most films. I was wathing X-Men 2 the other day and there's a bit

The Matrix 2 and 3 were the most unneccesary film ever. I just watch number 1 and pretend it ends there. Its a perfectly serviceable ending, hell, its a good ending. But then they spoiled it with the money making ventures in shit form that were 2 and 3.

There are moments in the matrix sequels that are greater than the original movie altogether, even though the original was a better performance as a whole. I think it's obvious that they should have cut the sequels down to one 2 hour movie, and made it shorter, straight to the point and edgier. The parts that really contain interesting stuff is brilliant and are some of the best scenes of the entire history of movie making. They just had too much money to work with and they got way too much leash when editing the movies. It was meant to be one sequel, they edited to two - which was a bad decision. I'd love to see a director's cut of the sequels into one movie sometime in the future.

Personally I liked the sequels of the Matrix. It was just an excuse for all kinds of sci-fi action awesome and I greatly appreciated it.

Why Agent Smith didn't just get an entire film of his own I will never understand. Just give him a 90 minute long monologue and end it off with him punching a hole through Keanu Reeves head.

It would be worth of an Academy Award.

This could be true. See, she might not be a top actor, but I think Keira Knightley is fucking SEX-EYYYYYY. I mean, she's a beautiful girl.

Anyway, my movie knowledge is currently lacking. I think it's cuz I just woke up.
I still heart Goodkind.

Kiera Knightly is overrated, she's always wearing a ton of make-up to accentuate the eyes, etc.

Now Sarah Jessica Parker... THAT is a fox! :) :D

I love Kingdom of Heaven, but Bloom is definately the weak link, he simply isn't cut out for the role of Balian.

Matrix sequels, - un nescessary garbage.
PotC sequels - as above

Now, to really throw the cat ammongst the pigeons (and aptorian demons)

A film tha tSHOULD have been completely awesome that was lef down by a shitty end sequence, a lack of Ryan Reynolds and some pretty bad blue screen/ cgi scenes.
Wolverine ~ducks~

I was totally underwhelmed by the whole affair, after such a great start it just went down hill.

I don't think you're going to get quite the Fanboi "Oi! That film was AWESOME!!!!11111!" response you think you're going to get from that statement. I echo your sentiments - it was passable in terms of the action scenes, I guess, but it was also riddled with plotholes and there were, as you say, many poor CGI scenes in there.

Wolverine:the origins of cameos

TBH i really enjoyed matrix reloaded and thought it was a good addition whereas the last one was awful. Granted the fight sequeces in reloaded did woo me.

Films that many think were good but was underwhelmed by

No country for old men. Underwhelmed the first ime i watched it watched it again thought it was ok but apparently the book was better

Omg he just mentioned Keira Knightley and the matrix in the same context, which is just inexcusable. I am about to implode... :Surprise:

Hancock. The premise was excellent, and I was really psyched about going to see it, but in the end it wasn't half as excellent as I had made it out to be in my head. It wasn't TERRIBLE but it could have been so much better, especially with that cast and all the potential fun they could have had with it.

I liked Hancock. I didn't like the lack of showdown awesome in the ending I was expecting, but I liked the story. It reminded me a bit off the anti-climatic story from Unbreakable. Only, of course, unbreakable is a whole different kind of movie.

First things first...the Departed was freaking amazing, so many good actors, great dialogue, every other line is quotable, and the ending is so shocking the first time you see it.

One movie that I was really pumped to see was Righteous Kill, then I saw it, figured out "the twist" 5 minutes in, and got kind of bored. It's sad that actors get old.
So, you're the historian who survived the Chain of Dogs.
Actually, I didn't.

It seems you stand alone.
It was ever thus.

I didn't necessarily not like "the Departed", it just wasn't as good as I thought it would be (for example, as good as "Goodfellas").

The Departed is good, I just wish they had left Mark Wahlberg's character out of it - totally pointless.
