I downloaded the books from a file share place somewhere with the intent of reading them for the same reasons as RLY. I haven't gotten around to it yet.

So apparently some companies decided that YA was the way to go, specifically Twilight YA.
To the point where Harlequin has created a whole new imprint to publish bound pieces of paper (I refuse to call them books) like Twilight.
You can read the article of madness here and here.

So now Harlequin will flood the market not just with over the top cheesy heaving bosoms being liberated from corsets and fiery passionate modern affairs, but with Twilight clones.
So while these new books may not see the same media storm or rabid following, it will maintain the rabies already in place and keep an entire generation fueled with rampantly false views of reality.

I just read that David Slade is going to direct the third Twilight movie, Eclipse...The man who directed Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night is going to direct a Twilight movie....WTF?!

While it is a bastard creation, you know that both abominations are so similar that it was going to happen sooner or later.
