I gotta say, Gem, maybe you and Malaese should compare self-implosion notes after the game.

Haha yeah. I really hate playing RI...and when it's not going well...what can I say, it just gets messy.

Bent, did you send a ''Ruse is innocent' to Telas? I did not.

Darnit, I was so sure D'riss was scum. Now they will lynch him because of me. :p

Man why can't they realize I would never do that sort of thing for no reason? They should figure it out, that I am actually no symp. Meh.

On second thought, fuck them, I'm rooting for the scums. Go Tapper!

Halfway through a read, but Peanut, you're amazing. A fucking mafia god.
"pseudoscience and superstition will seem year by year more tempting, the siren song of unreason more sonorous and attractive. Where have we heard it before? Whenever our ethnic or national prejudices are aroused, in times of scarcity, during challenges to national self-esteem or nerve, when we agonize about our diminished cosmic place and purpose, or when fanaticism is bubbling up around us – then, habits of thought familiar from ages past reach for the controls. The candle flame gutters. Its little pool of light trembles. Darkness gathers. The demons begin to stir." - Carl Sagan

ROFL, thanks but all I did was ensure Mockra died by sacrificing myself (a noble goal for the RI). You were dead the moment you revealed.

Granted, there are only 3 scum left (in 17?) and Scum has not yet put any eyeballs on Telas, so he has a good chance to land a find if he doesn't focus on the main pack that the group is watching. That pack is entirely innocent!

In fact, Telas really needs to hit Tennes or re-try Gamelon. I have no reason to think he'd try Gamelon, and since he now thinks Ruse is cleared, he MUST pick up on Tennes or hope the convo drifts that way after another inno/inno day/night.

Anddddd, Gem just went off the deep end. Sigh. So much for defending. Meh, I admire her (whatever it is that mean to go out kicking and screaming).

Why do these games always have someone that ends up just suiciding in frustration from the vote pressure?

I wasn't about the voting pressure really, I was just pissed off. But when I finally exploded the thread I was calm, and had decided to ride it out - I only had 2 votes after all. Then I just posted that stuff on an impulse, and I just ran with it, for fun. I sort of had realized before that though that they were gonna keep focusing on me for a while, and it wasn't going to help the game. That is seriously the worst thing about getting bad cases on you as RI - the fact that you know that the scum is laughing at you from some corner... :broody:

Also I was bored, and I had to make some fun.

As I said, I haven't been reading the thread, but from the gist of things I'm getting from the PMs, it sounds like PB pulled off a pretty nice move there to keep his finder around for another day...kudos for that!

I guess it's not quite so important in a huge game like this, but it always kind of bugs me when RI players explode and get lynched. If you really want to go suicidal, you do something to try and draw NKs, not lynches, because that actually helps your team. Getting lynched is simply wasting your team's resources. So play more like PB! :p

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

See, in that case, you reveal Finder as Fener's Partner. Go back through Fener's posts and find something random that you can claim as your 'code.' Saved from lynch and are the next NK after Fener (because let's face it, the scum aren't going to take a chance you are bluffing).

Bonus: You point a finger at someone you figure as scum and see if you can drive the lynch that way.

Xpost with STD but basically, I'm not tooting my own horn as much as saying, "If you are going down, go down swinging." Yes, I could have been wrong about Mockra/Fener, but I rolled the dice confident that my fake reveal would very likely get Mockra killed. I've read too many games in the last few weeks and they all end up the same: A vocal person early gets lynched that was innocent, which is why I jumped for Fener.

Slick M. I owe you an apology. You are going to get lynched because, you made cases and pushed them. And because team inno is lazy and wants to get an easy out. Really sucks to be you right now. Sigh.

Yeah. The killers deserve to win after that day 1-3 performance from the innocents. If people suspect me for making cases, what the hell am I supposed to do?

View PostPath-Shaper, on Apr 27 2009, 07:23 PM, said:

Not at the moment. Slick M. has successfully targetted one killer and 2 symps. Uncanny, but he hasn't put together that the symps are symps...lol

There's no way to do that, though, because too many people look guilty. All the sheep attacked me for daring to make a case, and now they all look like symps. So the real killers and symps don't stand out at all. My most vocal opponents are innocent, and they're going to be lynched one after the other.

Telas is the great hope. I've told him not to find the obvious targets, that's D'riss, Omtose and Emurlahn. Hopefully he'll target Tennes soon.

But really the innocents are in big big trouble.

That would only have got Gem lynched and outed Telas.

Gem, really you should have toughed it out. The best thing to do would be to go back through the previous posts, find someone you think is linked to Mockra, and make a case on them. It would help out the innocents even if you did end up getting lynched. Don't fake-claim evil, it's a bad idea. :p

Honestly I didn't want to - I was going to ride it out, but then I changed my mind. I was pissed. :p

Also I was so sure D'riss was scum, and I already had a case on her.

Everything is so clear when you know the details.
