It's the John Wick movie of French Cuisine, if John Wick was a mentally ill forest hobo.

I didn't realize how much I needed a new Jackass movie till I saw this trailer.

Can't help but notice Bam Mageria is not in the trailer. That's probably for the best.

That looks great, had me LOL there...

Bam is a mess atm it seems, think either the director or producer had to take out a restraining order against him. Also saw some videos of him on reddit, dude needs some help, sad to see.

Well this looks fucking dope. Directed by Ridley, written by Damon & Affleck, and staring them and Adam Driver, and Jodie Comer too? Yeah, I am excite.

Comer finally growing on you?

I don't dislike her, I just didn't care for that spy show she was on or the character.

And I liked her as Rey's mom for the brief moments she was in TROS.

I shall definitely watch this. It's so dumb and ridiculous and I can't help but laugh at it.

But what about Free Guy?
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Rambo: Last Blood.

It's not good but there is a lot of booby trap preparation and a lot blood.

Oh and I watched Outcast on Netflix. Nicholas Cage, Hayden Christensen crusade era(ish) adventure. It's not good. Poor script, badly edited, you have to join the loose plot elements together yourself but as the plot is so generic that's not difficult. It is the kind of movie where you can do something else whilst watching it and not miss anything. Nic Cage's character by the end is like the casting director said "we need someone who is going to bring a wacky Nicholas Cage-esque element to this character."

I rather enjoyed it and got some admin done at the same time.

Freaky -- the slasher-meets-Freaky Friday movie with Vince Vaughn. Vaughn is genuinely imposing here as the baddie, they put his size to good use. When the switch happens, he's kinda funny, but coming after the two new Jumanji movies the tough-dude-as-teen-girl tank feels pretty much empty. But the actual teenage girl (Kathryn Newton) is real good at embodying the psycho part too. There's some pretty clever bits as both of them get used to new size/strength dynamics. All the other characters are pretty rote, and the plot isn't full of any big surprises, but the occasional little things do count for something. So as far as slasher hybrids go this is definitely not Scream level, but is probably half a grade lower than Happy Death Day -- so not bad, not great, kinda fun enough.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Watched the very silly "Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga" and utterly loved it. It is not to be taken seriously at all but as someone who enjoys the Eurovision every year and utterly loves Iceland the country (where most of the film is set) I just had a blast with it. Rachel McAdams is an utter treasure and I don't think I realised how good her comedy chops are.

Looks cringey bad like the first one. Which is a good thing, because that is what made the first one fun. More of that please, and less of the many plates spinning trying to figure out what kind of movie you want to be.

We watched JUNGLE CRUISE on the weekend, and we much enjoyed it. It was a blast and the characters are really charming enough to carry the movie.

Think The Mummy (1999), mixed with a healthy dose of The Pirates of the Caribbean, and a dash of Jumanji.

The Rock, Emily Blunt, and Jack Whitehall were all really good in it.

I'd watch a sequel if they made one. Which they almost certainly will.
