Daps on the Pooh Bear love QT. Seems to be going much more the Paddington route than the Peter Rabbit route, which is A-Okay in my book. Looks lovely.

A Quiet Place.

Just..... watch.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Jace said he wants to go but idk if he will when it comes time to as he has been saying this since RO and then changing his mind right before we walk out the door. Meh he’s 11 so his phone games are all important but I’d really like to make offspring to a SW movie.

Me too... they're a bit young but I really want to go again, and its half term so they're off. Tempting to try, but I'm not certain they'd follow it enough to enjoy it.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Baywatch -- this is what happens when you have a solid engaging cast giving it 100% and screenwriters giving it like 20-25%. It's intermittently funny, and it's intermittently exciting, but most of the time it feels like a basic NCIS script with ad libs.

Deadpool 2 is awesome. Thanks for your attention.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Wonder Woman

Whoa man, what a wonder! <<<< see what I did there.Posted Image

Seriously though, it might be my favorite super hero movie across all the media franchises (Marvel, DC, Sony, others?).

This is how you do a movie of this genre, imo. The casting was perfect through the whole film. Loved the rag tag gang that went on the mission with Wonder Woman, just perfect.
Just a wonderful (did it again, teeheePosted Image) film through and through

I give Wonder Woman 5 impossible crossings of No Man's Land out of 5.

Going Solo to Solo, seems apt

Just got this confirmation more or less. Finally heard back they didn't care if they saw this one or not so I'm not gonna bother trying to go with anyone. I ll just go solo to Solo like I suspected I would be. Maybe I ll take Jace when Jaina goes to her friends house in a few days.

Dare I dream? This actually looks GOOD?

I mean, Travis Knight was the PERFECT choice to have another stab at the TF movies because he's an animator by trade...he gets why the G1 cartoon worked, why the TF's need to look bright, colourful and blocky and transform quickly without a lot of overly animated metal mess.

I mean, both Bee and what I assume is Starscream look AND transform like their G1 toys/cartoon counterparts did.

Cautiously optimistic.

Idk.

Mixed feelings about that. Is it a prequel?

I mean yes, as it features some of the elements from the Bay movies (Sector 7, for example) and takes place in the 80's...but it also looks like it might be a soft reboot of the series to aim a little closer to the G1 series that everyone loves? I can't think of any other reason to completely overhaul how the TF's look and transform than that i what is essentially a prequel.

My guess. If this does well, you'll see this as a launchpad for Paramount to reinvigorate the series in a new direction with BUMBLEBEE as the first movie.

Yeah, the "Bee movie" looks like it might be really good. (That Bernie Mac voiceover tho ) Like what the first Bay movie could have been if Michael Bay hadn't Michael Bayed all over it. Be interesting to see if it can right the film franchise.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"
