No! Why do they have to remake fucking Point Break? That's a classic action movie. I hate this remake trend Hollywood has been on the past few yrs. this movie is unnecessary imo.
I thought that too, especially because I love Kathryn Bigelow so much...
...BUT...after seeing the trailer I thoguht...you know what? That does't loook half bad. They've changed a number of elements and it might be good.
As for me, I watched INSIDE OUT finally. Part of it made me sob. The Bing Bong part was the most emotional. Great film, as is usual from Pixar.

Mockingjay Part 2 was pretty meh as mentioned above. The action scene in the sewers made me realise how dull a lot of the previous bits had been. I also made the school boy error of going to a late afternoon showing of a teen film. Unaccompanied teens, aaarrrgggghhhhhh.

The new Vacation was about what i expected. Nothing at all like the original, a few laughs, mostly over the top humor which permeates movies such as this and Hangover 3.
I'm gonna go watch the original.

I was ok with the new one. I never connected all that strongly to the first one and that's mostly because I'm not a fan of Chevy Chase's overall brand of humor. Applegate and Helms did a good job with putting the jokes to screen.

Just watched Ant-Man. 'Twas good fun.

It was fun, but I'll always wonder, "What could the Edgar Wright version have been?"

And I'll always wonder what a Guillermo del Toro Hobbit movie would have been like but oh well.

Creed. Good movie. Worth watching, but it just doesn't bring the same excitement and intensity as the Rocky movies. The music was a big part in the Rocky's and it was somewhat lacking here; I was never pumped up like when watching the old movies. Maybe momentarily when the old music played at the end there. Also, might be the formula is a bit stale now. That one shot scene was beautifully done though.
No Touchy.

I've found the division is between the people who care about Mandarin being like the comics and those that don't. I did at first but gave that up after realizing I don't care that much about Iron Man anyway. All three movies are in C+/B- territory for me, so why hold a grudge against one goofy decision?

Name one thing about the Mandarin that isn't 'ten magic rings' or 'uncomfortable oriental stereotype'. Exactly.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Iron Man 3 was quality.
The Mandarin undercut would have been worse if they'd wasted a good villain on him.

I liked the take on Mandarin, and I didn't see it coming, mostly because I avoided a lot of the build up hype.
overall I think 3 was the weakest of the iron man films, I really enjoyed 1, 2 was kind of bland and 3 just was dull too.
