That a film or a smell reference?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

'To ming' is another way to say 'to smell offputting'. Not that I can say one way or another.

OK, how the hades do you post pictures? Just link to the URL? If so, I've got some work to do...
I saw POTC2. Not a perfect film by any means but boy it kept me entertained. I blew soda out my nose when the un-dead monkey was bartered with the voodoo queen. Depp was great, Orlando was bland, and Keira was...sigh.

Watched "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room" last night. Interesting stuff. Basically Enron got away with so much fraud because nobody ever really bothered to ask, "So guys, could you sit down and tell me in plain English, just what the hell is it your company does?" And in fact, even by the end of the movie, it's still not clear what the company's business supposedly was. Looks like Lay/Skilling just said "X is worth [pull random multimillion-dollar figure out of the air]," and everybody else just said, "Okay."
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Saw Pirates yesterday, and I was seriously disappointed. All that action, yet the movie felt like it dragged.

I watched A Scanner Darkly last night.
Fantastic! The Rotroscoping was a fantastic addition. I hear alot of people bitching about how they would have rather seen a live action version, this guy says no. It had more atmosphere this way. Its how I invisioned it whenever I read the book.
Higly Reccomended.

My recent movie watches include Memento and Layer Cake. I'm a bit behind the times. I thought Memento was brilliant. I love all of the Guy Pearce films I have seen.
I saw Layer Cake yesterday. It was better than I expected. It has a rather convoluted plot, which is usually a good thing for a movie, e.g. Memento. I pick up most details in a film and can follow complex plots, however this one kept leaving me wondering if I'd missed something, which I don't like. It all came together in the end though. Daniel Craig reminds me of Steve McQueen. He should hopefully make a decent Bond.

Daniel Craig was also in Elizabeth, albeit briefly. I mention this because I recently saw Elizabeth for the first time. Excellent movie. Academy voters are freaking morons for giving Gwyneth Paltrow an Oscar over Cate Blanchett that year.

Hell, they're morons almost every year. That year in particular they picked "Shakepeare in Love" as best picture over "Saving Private Ryan".

Clerks II was a pretty funny movie. I'm a fan of Kevin Smith movies, and after seeing Jersey Girl, watching this movie was like rinsing the taste of donkey semen out of my mouth with some mediocre whiskey. Not the best thing, but it still gets rid of the stupidity that came before it.
