Oooooo ooooo Just saw some posters for Blade:Trinity. Now even though they me be milking it now for all it is worth, I hope it's still good, cos the 1st was wicked and the 2nd one equalled it. And I hope Kris kristofferson is gonna be in it. He is well cool!!! Posted Image

@Rallick Nom
Akira and Neon Genesis Evangelion are indeed fookin' awesome. Have you seen Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell yet?. That constitutes the four pieces of anime that have had some of the biggest imapact on me.

Saw Interstella 5555 recently and really liked it. It is a project of Daft Punk where they use their cd as a basis for an anime movie. I don't know if anyone saw the music videos but they expanded on it. I can recomend it as something different and interesting

Funny that you mention that! Yeah, I had a sneaking suspicion that there was something odd about that whole relationship. It just seemed kinda odd how fast she entered his life. Maybe she was his controller, I don't know! Posted Image

I saw Shrek 2 the other night. Now that's a worthy sequel! As for AvP, why didn't they use the comic's story? Looks to me like promoting AvP 3... Recently seen Solaris (the russian '70s version) - 160 minutes and NOTHING happens. Been told, the US version's as boring yet shorter. Hmmm... []Is anybody else hot? Cancel the chocolate shake! Mmmh, cheeseburgers! [/QUOTE]

That movie blew BAD, BAD. Hohohoho...

Glory- Bit contrived and flag-waving, but great action and solid performances. 7.5/10
For Whom the Bell Tolls- Boring. Booooooooooring. 3/10

Underworld had a lot of potential to be a great movie, but I will agree they messed up a number of times.

Kate definitely saved that movie. Posted Image

Underworld... bleech. One of the most uninspired and derivative pieces of **** I've ever seen. Not a single unique idea, and it was full of complete nonsense. Why on earth do we need a sequel?

Barry Lyndon - A good story told way... too... slowly.

FORGOTTEN - Don't try and dissect the plot and it's a decent, entertaining movie. Spend more than 30 seconds considering the NSA's actions and you'll want the two hours of your life back.

WIMBELDON - Great date movie. Harmless, safe fluff. Love story. Silly brits talk to themselves lots.

SHREK 2 - Puss in Boots had me laughing hard enough to pee on my leg, or at least someone else's. The big finale must be seen to be believed.

- Abyss, dressed for the fight.

Heard quite a few good reviews for Sky Captain. Looks intriguing. The Forgotten also looks pretty good, Rodeo. It is coming out this weekend I think.

Saw Shrek 2 last night (opening night for us Aussies)

Was very good, though to mind it was trying just that little harder than the original... a case of too clever and don't it just know it.

But still a very good movie, with tonnes of throwaway reference.

Versachery was a goodie

Watched Timeline a couple of days ago and enjoyed it as well, although have to say that I thought that the book was better.

Also watched Dagon as well which was a bit different, not sure how close it was to the Lovecraft novel but still a good film. Hope to watch King Arthur shortly, looks like it might be a good laugh.

Watched Alien vs. Predator yesterday which was AWFUL. How can you put a great and a good movie together and get something this bad? Did they just randomly pick people off the street to do the acting!?

Also watched Man on Fire, which was pretty damn good. Probably gonna get the soundtrack of that, too.
