Well, Sesame Street is going to get 'Jokerized'. I'm looking forward to it.

I just saw Joker. It's good. I spent a good chunk of the middle of the movie thinking it was very similar to King of Comedy and trying to decide if it was a rip off or actually being clever. Either way very entertaining and a fantastic performance. Even the Gary Glitter bit worked and I kind of wanted to cheer at that point.

The only other negative was I realised that I didn't want to know the origins of the Joker. So for me it is a good film about a mans descent into (or out of) madness but I'm glad it is standalone. I don't want to feel sorry for the Joker.

Bought Spidey Far From Home just now.

Sure hope it’s better then the piece of shit movie that came before it.

Also bought it....errr.....rented it on Netflix or Prime for 3.99.

I liked the first one better.

On a side note, this is by far the best Peter Parker actor hands down, IMHO.

Gremlins 3 would be off the motherfucking chain to!

Gremlins was just one of those movies that screams early childhood anytime I think about it.

Oddly enough, I couldn't have been much older than 5 or 6, but I remember knowing that as that child, I was frightened, but that I was also aware of the MAN and the MANLY things I'd have done to Phoebe Cates.

And that I found religion, for I KNEW there was a God when the previously mentioned Phoebe Cates did the swimming pool scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Although Gremlins came out about 3 years AFTER Fast Times, I must of just had to wait before I finally caught a glimpse of those warlocks.

Watched SHAZAM and I've no idea why this wasn't bigger because it's a great fun, very funny and all round entertaining superhero movie and probably the only DC film that wouldn't feel horribly out of place in the Marvel roster. Actually probably the only other DC film that I'd watch again (Wonder Woman is the first...)

Zachary Levi is great, as I knew he would be, and ask the kid actors in it nail their parts.

Ok, I need to know, any you guys see The Lighthouse in theaters and what are you thoughts? I watched a clip (not trailer) of a scene where Willem Dafoe's character just goes off. It was intense, and definitely looks Oscar worthy.

Still not seeing why someone thinks this is a good idea... other than 'hey, The Rock wants to be Black Adam!'.

Wouldn't it be great if they cast someone who's actually Arabic in the part.

Egypt is in Africa.

The Rock is African-American / Samoan.

...of course Egypt's primary language is Arabic and it is referred to as an 'Arab Republic', just to complicate things...

Uh, I'm pretty sure the documentary "The Scorpion King" establishes that The Rock is in fact native to Egypt.

Saw TRANSFORMERS: BUMBLEBEE.

Good fun. Simple story, straightforward performances from the humans, GREAT action pieces. The opening deserved to be the first scene in a much bigger Transformers movie, and fight towards the end when Dropkick tosses 'Bee and he recreates the 'get thrown by much bigger 'bot/transform/spin out/transform/leap to attack' move from the original cartoon opening... i may have rewound and watched that a time or six.... and there may have been cheering... no, there were no tears dammit it was dusty....

It's almost sad how simple it is to make a good Transformers movie considering what a mess everything Bay has touched (arguably aside from the first movie) turned into.

Or not.

The second suffered massively for atrocious fx, and the need to warp the thin already story to accommodate idiocy from the cast and director.
