Do you mean it's not visible when you plug it in to your PC? You know the easiest solution of all would be for you to come further over to the dark side and buy a Mac! :p Just saying....

I discovered an app yetsterday that stands head and shoulder above anything I've seen on any phone so far...Its called SHAZAM! If you hear a tune you like, whip out the iphone and load shazam it takes three seconds and then let the phone listen to the song, it will then vibrate when it thinks its heard enough and hey presto it tells you the song. I was very impressed.

Of course I exist Maccy... I app therefore I am :p

I found some cool games as well, but Shazam is the dogs !

Wow, I don't check on my thread for a couple days and see what happens? Frook is hooked and I think i'm fast falling in love with Tehol, Lol. I like this phone more and more as I play with it. Stanza is awesome btw, so thanks Tehol for suggesting that. I agree that the camera is crap but I could care less, since the resolution isn't that great on things far away anyways. Oh, for you drunkards out there, you can't beat drinks free. Something like 40,000 alcoholic and non alcoholic drink recipes just a touch away. Cmon, what's not to love. And yes, it's seriously the best PHONE i've had. Ever. About the blackberry. Enjoy paying for expansion cards since the existing memory is only 1Gb... Major drawback. For my money, no better phone. It's ok to hate, Macros. Not everyone can love this phone all at once.

Anyway...I'd like to do an appdate on things cos I discovered another beauty. its called an ocarina. If you remember zelda and the ocarina of time...same thing, only the iphone acts as an ocarina, there are four finger holes and you blow gently into the speaker and it works like magic. I can now play twinkle twinkle little star, but soon the bolero of fire and all the tracks from zelda will be mine...Then I'll be able to save the cheerleader and save the world...Hold on wrong reference, oops...Save Zelda and save Hyrule! Call me Link!

Learn the Song of Storms, infuriate windmill enthusiasts.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Wat? That makes three of us who are in love with our iPhones??? It's the beginnings of a revolution my friends! :D Glad to hear you're both enjoying your phones! Arthur Dayne if you come accross any new and exciting apps be sure to share them with the rest of the enlightened iPhone users on the board. I've already given frookie a few more suggestions. If you're bored and looking for a time waster give Tap Tap Revolution a try! It's like a cross between Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero! You can even download or upload your own songs and put them into the game! The amound of time I've waster playing that game is insane! It's addictive! Oh and with the Remote app you can actually turn your iPhone into a remote control for your computer. Check out Pandora if you listen to music on your phone, it's one of the best apps I've tried by far! And yes Stanza is awesome, it almost makes me wish I hadn't forked out the money for my Sony e-reader! Enjoy boys!

Vizzni...apologies for the lapse, I'm sure it was inconceivable, but not everybody is as worldly wise as you :D

And Hold on Regulan, I'm a complete musical beginner...It'll take me a while to get to that level, but I will do it...

Maccy, the shazam love is still real. Dude, you gotta stop the hate cos the iphone is flipping fantastic and it just gets better and better. If you think about it, the platform is excellent for users and the apps aren't insanely complicated to make and every day more and more apps are uploaded most start free until they generate a following, but once an app is owned, all the subsequent upgrades are FREE! And the appmakers are generally being fantastic and really listening to the feedback.

When I had a play with my brother in laws iphone I was fine with the way it does things, but I am liking it more and more as I twist it to my personal tastes. Mac...you deserve an iphone.

Edit: And yes, Tehols knowledge of the heaven sent app machine is without compare...

It's like I keep saying even if you hate Mac products there's no denying this is an excellent phone. I honestly think most people who knock it aggressively haven't even tried it or read up on it. I know I kept bugging you about the Xperia, but it's honestly not a bad phone, it's just that it's miles apart when you compare it to the iPhone. This is user friendly, and you're right in saying you can personalize it to suit your particular needs. Shazam is excellent, I would say it's set up is better than that of my Sony reader. I guess it all depends on how much you want out of your phone. When you stack it up against all the other smart phones though, for my money it was the most worth it. I for one think it's excellent that they are actually listening to the user in regards to creating and improving the apps. It can't be all bad as the Blackberry people are going in the same direction as far as developing new apps are concerned. So that at least must have some merit to it!

:D I'm sorry frookie! Trust me though, they're all changes for the better! I swear! If it really bugs you you can always go back to the Xperia. You're not getting out of wearing the pink shirt though...
