So I got an Iphone and was wondering if anyone else has this phone and hasn't been able to put it down and/or had sex with it a la peter and the surfin' bird record from Family Guy? If you don't have this phone, do you have one that is a toy first and a phone second?

I don't think you're unusual. My mate got one a few months back and had similar can't-put-it-down issues...Wouldn't be surprised if he had sex with it either...

Teholbeddict was another one that professed her undying love for her iphone, but she's on vacation, so won't be around to comment.

I know people who were infatuated with them early on after getting the but got used to them eventually.

personally I own some cheap Motorolla that has real slow internet i rarely use, a camera I rarely use, an alarm clock I use on a daily basis, and probably several dozens of features i never ever use or will use.

Same for me, the only reason I don't still have my original 3310 is because work changed their service provider so were just handing out the old phones. The alarm and the calculator are probably the only things that i use worth mentoning (answering phone calls definitely isn't).

My telephone has a radio and an alarmclock that's about all I expect of it besides being able to text of course.

The one thing you hear from 90% of all iphone users..."my iphone this/that/does/"

I'm seriously thinking of ditching my Xperia and picking one up.

Edit: For gods sake don't tell Tehol...I'll never hear the end of it :D

Saved for posterity.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

At the end of the day when poeple start puffing and blowing to me about all the stuff their I-phone does.
I pull my phone out and say, guess what my phone does? it rings people, it sends text messages, e-mails. Its quite fancy, takes pictures too If I need.
90% of bullshit on I-phones is never needed or used.
90% of I-phone owners don't utilise them enough to justify owning them. Those that do would be better served with a palm pilot or something similar.
Sending texts on it is a loada crap.
in finishing iphone is a piece of shit, and so is your face

Wow, that was one epic (albeit old) review and objective criticism of an Iphone. I do have to say though that after almost 2 weeks of playing with it that I find myself using a good bit of the preinstalled goodness on the phone and surprisingly use the phone for the singularly most important role it was created for. As a phone. Shocker.

:p OMG!!! I can't believe it! :p After all the grief you gave me over my owning an iPhone! Harping on about your super duper smart phone! You're damn skippy I'm never going to let you hear the end of this! I knew that phone of yours wouldn't be able to do half the stuff my iPhone does, but noooo you couldn't admit I was right! Bow down to the awesomeness that is Mac my dear! Ditch that Xperia and go buy yourself and iPhone you wont regret it! I promise!!!!

Oh and to answer your question Arthur Dayne, yes I do love my iPhone!!! ;) I have extolled it's virtues on this board many a time only to be scorned for my love of all things Mac! I'll take the scorn from the mob and keep my iPhone thank you very much, as it is the greatest phone ever! EVER!!!

You can deny it all you want but I know you do! ;) If denial makes you feel better about my being right and you being wrong then by all me means go ahead! You've admitted it once and thankfully Illy saved it so I'll be able to see it forever more even if you try to edit it away! You my dear want an iPhone! :Patch: Seriously though it really is better than the Xperia, you should just bite the bullet and get one frookie! I promise I won't tease you....much!

No fair...The WIN for me was the stock prices app on the iphone...I dont use the experia for appointments cos I got 3 other diaries to play with (work) and I've never used the excellent cocking action keyboard (which is still way cool) because I'm a dab hand with the stylus...

I am going to pick one up probably on the morrow or in a few days...

Actually after reading Maccys little iphone killjoy ad...I'm going to do some playing on my brother in laws 3in1 device ;) and see what gwan...BRB, eventually

Well I think Maccy is just jealous and completely bitter as usual! It really is the best phone I've ever owned! Plus it's rediculously stylish and I know you like to be in style my dear! A good number of the add ons might not be necessary, but they are fun! I for one do use most of the features on my phone, it really allows me to multi-task and do things on the go, so for me it's a great tool. Just go online and look at the pros and cons of the iPhone. Most people do agree that even if it is expensive and you don't use all of the features, it is still an excellendt phone. Come on over to the dark side frookie! I know you wanna! Mac= Awesome!
