Not quite...I just had a play on the iphone for a bit...and I'm liking it.

the thing is I like it more than my xperia, so i might be heading to it this weekend...just going to find out what I can get for it on ebay/computer exchange...

One thing Maccy...Mac...Maccy...Mac. You were born to own a Mac, Macros.

I knew you would like it if you gave it a try! I think most people who say they hate it are those who just automatically write it off because they have a hate on for all things Mac (such as Mr. Maccy) ! The deals on ebay aren't that great unless you can get free shipping thrown in, otherwise you end up paying just as much or more than you could buy it for at the apple store. Join the club Frookie, I love you forever if you do! Plus I promise not to bother you about the fact that I was right!! Although really I was!!!!!

I'm buying one purely for the fact that it has fantastic software, but I'm still dubious about the second rate hardware, but TBH, my first brush with smartphones has left me too hungry, The xperia is an awesome piece of kit, but tries to do too many things and its barely mediocre as a PC, its not a good phone, the keyboard is too fiddly and it was the stylus all the way, excellent internet with opera, my newsfeeds is what kept it with me this long and it was simply a gorgeous piece of kit.

I'm looking forward to the change...Just so long as this is Tehols final word about being right...

That was my final word dear I promise! You know I had to bug you though! There was no way I could let something like that slide after you had given me such a hard time! Plus I don't want to fall out of favour with Maccy! He's not very nice to people who piss him off!

The blackberry is a huge ugly piece of crap! How could you possibly say it's better than the iPhone! It's too chunky and heavy, the screen isn't as large and the apps for the iPhone are a million times better! The iPhone has way more uses for the everyday consumer! The only model of Blackberry that even comes close performance wise is the Bold and even that is miles away from the iPhone! I wouldn't be caught dead carrying one of those things around!

Tehol, one of these days you're going to break that exclamation point button.

I'm wary of the iphone. I've seen way too many supplemental battery packs available for the thing, that plus what I've heard makes me afraid the battery life is fatally flawed on the thing.

I am present downloading the itunes thingy wotsit and will be able to start playing on it soon...Computer exchange gave me 205 nicker for my old phone, so I had some change left over for my neices birthday present :(

Okay...First off...Its beautiful, has a decent weight and the screen is very similar to jungle in that its MASSIVE. Oh and it is shiny.

The control method is slick, very, very slick. and it kicks all the other mobile phones' arses with gusto and much ado.

Its not mobile braodband quick, but its good enough. So I'll be able to catch up with stuff. Safari is nice, but not as good as opera. I'm now hunting for an app that will let me at my newsfeeds like cnn money and engadget...

Text messaging is going to be a chore until I get a stylus for it, but hey ho, its not all that bad. I could of course grow my nails and then file the one on my index fingers to sharp points, but I'm keeping my Man card for the mo.

F@*K B@5T@R05 Balls. Hurrah! I'm completely legal and do not have to worry about breaking the law by using dodgy software

Its a phone and an ipod touch...

It'll take me some time to really plumb the bloody things depths and get it to the point where I am satisfied, but its a darn sight better than the Xperia and its completely defunct cocking action keyboard. Don't stay ituned, cos it'll take me ages :(

Bah, not all Blackberry's are big, chunky and ugly. Check out the 8110, it's slick, neat, handy as hell, tough, with great battery life, reliability and sooooo easy to use! Ah, how did I ever manage without one!

They've also released a blackberry flip-phone.
Mine's a Pearl, small and easy to use. The battery life isn't so great, but this is offset by the e-mail and the excellent agenda app.

smartphones are expensive

considering that aside from calling my parents (which is why my overprotective mother got me a phone in the first place), I use it on average 3 times a week, spending over $60 for a phone seems a heretical waste of money to me.

i'll stick with my Motorolla v360
because it fits in my Nokia case, which fits in my jeans pocket.
