I can't really describe it, I just got an immediate sense from my gut that screamed, "THIS GUY IS NOT ON MY TEAM" And it turned out, he wasn't.

Hmm...well I guess it's possible that, hypothetically, the Wind Leaders could have come to the conclusion that they needed to find a non-Meanas Fire member because they figured Meanas was covering for him. Doesn't really fit the defence Ampelas is using.

Anyhow, I'll be the first to admit that the case on Ampelas is weak. And seeing as I've got plans for this evening, what with it being Valentine's Day and all, I will shortly be departing, and if all goes well (:p) will not be back until the deadline is passed. So, given that it's rather unlikely this case will make any headway, I'll

Remove Vote.

On the other hand, I'm of the opinion that we should be aiming for a lynch every day, especially with there not being many NKs, or else we'll get stuck in a rut. Plus, I want to see if the symps that have been theorized to exist for HP make an appearance. So,

Vote Hood's Path

The way I see it,
Either Meanas is actually a fire leader and for some strange reason ice leaders did not decide to target him
Or more likely, he is fire but not a leader and got guarded when the leaders of ice tried to "ice" him in the night (sorry couldn't resist) :p .
The final option could be that he is actually a leader of wind and just using his reveal to direct his team as well as garnering support from the remaining fire who believe he is helping them and is a blackmask/ 7th fire.

Underline is mine. Why would you say Ice leaders only? Are you implying that there is only one Wind leader left?

No but I was working under the assumption that Wind must have decided, yes let's go target ice before it's too late, hence the ice night death.

After all, he was agitating wind to attack ice. If he had failed to do that, then Wind leaders would have gone after him I guess and probably killed him if he was leader.

This was the first post after my original post, I think it states my position pretty clearly, I was working under this assumption and also put my theory that if Wind had attacked, then Meanas would probably be dead, I don't see your case at all...

The fact that you assume the Wind Leaders decided to attack Ice before it is too late doesn't follow from the fact that a member of Ice died in the night unless you think that Shadow was an Ice leader. Otherwise, you are still making assumptions that can only, as far as I can tell, derive from knowing what is going on inside the head of a Wind Leaders.

And what evidence was there that Shadow was an Ice Leader? I've gone back through his posts, but I don't really see anything. Once again, seems like a big stretch.

So no, not convincing to me.

My reasoning was that Wind Leaders probably didn't attack him because if they had he probably would have died (this is on the assumption he was a leader), read the posts more carefully! Then it follows that Wind leaders therefore probably did believe his rant on having to go after Ice, which would then maybe explain the death of Shadow. To me that's pretty clear logic.

In any case, note I said the second possibility was more likely, that he is just a random blackmask, probably not of Ice because that would have been a fail double bluff if he was.

Also, I still don't get the jump you made that my not mentioning the Wind leaders implies there must only be one Wind leader left, care to explain that again?

Having read back on Meanas's reveal, it seems he must be claiming he's the fire 7th, because otherwise how would he know that both his fellow leaders were dead?

In this case, Meanas could actually be telling the truth because if Ice or Wind leaders (by which I mean the first and third) decided to coordinate and hit him, and I would guess they would act together if they thought he was a third or a first, then the hit by the first would guard Meanas against any harm from the third.

When this happens, the leaders may just think that he is just a random blackmask making waves, and then he gets a free ride from those that can night kill him.

Just another possibility I thought I would throw into the mix, although I still think he is probably just a blackmask.

I was thinking along those lines too, actually.
hence my question of whether or not the BMs would be informed who the seventh is.
they'd obviously know that he was the one left in charge, but would they be told who he is?

I would guess not, for the same reasons as posted above: if the blackmasks are meant to know who their seventh is (for any faction) they would have been told at the beginning.

Wow. I'd never thought of that. That's actually quite possible.

So apart from Hood's Path, do we have any other suspects? I am of Fener's opinion that we do need to lynch every day, and since I will be gone soon and only possibly back before the deadline, I want to make a vote on the most likely lynch before I go.

then again, I'm not sure we'll manage to scrape together 4 more votes (not counting yours) anyhow

Well, I am off now, may be back before deadline but probably not, so I will

Vote Hood's Path

as that's our best chance of a lynch this day I think.

I haven't seen any new information today - well, not that I'm willing to share, as it involves identifying two people on other teams.

Might just go ahead and call it a weekend for playing, I have other things to not do, like getting wasted by myself.

I myself have been away for that little discussion going on. Nothing to really add to it either O.o
Anyone around that wants to discuss anything? I'm probably going to place my vote on HP but would like to see him come online some time this weekend before he is lynched O.o

Agreed. I'd hate to see HP get lynched without a chance to defend himself (although, admittedly, he's already been able to defend himself for days now).

Just kill him and get it over with. Not to be a broken record, but he's not gonna come up with anything new, just like we've not come up with anything new. I killed those fucking Elves, barely, and am now off to bed. I'll be back tomorrow afternoon, after church. Hope to see a dead path, with the hood pulled back to reveal it's nature.

Well he has had a few days to defend himself and I don't think he did so very well. Might aswell get it over with as it isn't a speed lynch o.o

I won't be on if the day times out, so fuck it. HP will probably get lynched either way; I'll just make it happen sooner.
