Because like I have said before, Meanas was agitating for Wind to help in targeting Ice. Therefore, I guess I thought that since an Ice person did die, and Meanas didn't that Wind did decide to go after Ice and let Meanas live.

That assumes that Shadow was killed by the Wind leaders. Possible, I suppose...but a serious leap to take on pretty filmsy grounds. Seems odd to me that you would make that assumption.

Ah okay, sorry for missing the post, I guess my thinking was if Meanas was targeted by Wind and he was a leader, he would have died. It was all on the assumption he was a leader. I am not assuming Shadow was killed by Wind leaders, since I am not assuming Shadow was a leader.

Note this also makes the assumption that Wind has two leaders left because the thinking is that Korlat wasn't a leader and we don't have any information suggesting Anomandaris was a leader. Just thinking that if Anomandaris was a leader, the Modkill would have been rather unfair to Wind.

However, if you'll recall Dibs gave fair warning, and informed us that he was attempting to fill the alt with another player. Perhaps he was a leader, and Dibs tried his best, but couldn't find a replacement.

If we assume Meanas is in fact a leader (let's say a 1st) and was attacked by a Wind leader (let's assume Emurlahn is wind and his only leader is the 1st) then Meanas would remain alive.

See, now I have a problem with this. This is the same thing as what you were considering on the part of the Ice leaders. If you were thinking this at the time, you would have included them in your original post on the topic. But you didn't, ergo you are coming up with a rationalization after the fact and are trying to hide something.

Yes, which could be why he's alive this morning. However, you forget, I said my 1st is dead, therefore your assumption doesn't quite work

Huh? I am confused now? Why would I have added this at the time? My argument was that Wind probably didn't attack him. It also follows that if I believed there are still 2 leaders in both Ice and Wind, it doesn't matter which faction went after Meanas, my reasoning would be the same.

And like I said, I didn't think there was anything to suggest we had got rid of leaders of either faction.

He play C&C, I play HOMM V. Elves are too fucking powerful. But my army of demons grows with each passing week. Soon the forces of my 2 heroes will swarm Gilraen, and crush that stupid androgynous pointy-eared tree-fucker.
