A river is indeed the correct answer. Was also riddled here before.

Because the boat turned over because the lake ran dry? (so all water flew away, probably because the sides of the lake had burst, and the water just ran off, the boat however stayed in place (magically) and just hit the bottom of the lake and turned over.
That, or the lake was dry to begin with.

What 7 letter word becomes longer when the third letter is removed?

I'm guessing this is gonna be a number or something... or perhaps even a variation on 'mile' or something (for instance in the way that a mile is longer than a kilometer... but then with words that actually work :( )
Pretty hard this one.

Good one on the 'lounger', very well spotted :(

On the boat:
Okay, here's another one: the boat sank after it turned, but the men were inside the boat. Now, inside the boat there remained an air bubble, too small to keep the boat up, but big enough for the men to stay dry inside.

Or the four men were actually divers and they had this special diving suit thingy?

We are very little creatures; all of us have different features. One of us in glass is set; one of us you'll find in jet. Another you may see in tin, and a fourth is boxed within. If the fifth you should pursue, it can never fly from you. What are we?

here we go sorry it took a while, i just posted that before i went to sleep :p

There's a body lying dead on a bed, and on the floor beside it is a pair of scissors. The scissors were instrumental in his death, yet there's no trace of blood. The body reveals no signs of any cuts or bruises. How could the person have been murdered with the pair of scissors?

Only one color, but not one size,
Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies.
Present in sun, but not in rain,
Doing no harm, and feeling no pain.
What is it.
