A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him, "You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him go free. What did the man say?

My lightning comes before the clouds;

Not sure, but I think the answer is 'the sun'?

Why, you ask?
The 'thunder' of the sun would be the sound, which is in my opinion the birds singing when the sun is about to rise
'the lightning' is of course the light of the sun, which does come before the clouds (because there's sunshine after rain, but there's also sunshine before rain...)
the 'rain' would be the sunbeams, which do indeed dry stuff.

Am I correct? Not even close?

Sandstorm?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Correct.

I must admit I googled it because Cause said my answer was such a far stretch. Now I know the answer is a volcano I must say my answer as 'sun' isn't too far a stretch... Mine is just more poetic :ph34r:
