BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

You better stick to your promise of kicking him in the balls

Are you kidding? It's a magically enhanced wildlife faceoff! Of COURSE there'll be metal foot meeting squishy testicle! But because this is now officially awesome, your dude will survive the booting.

Not quite sure I want to find out how you kick a swarm in the collective balls.
And if I didn't survive it would make writing my next post rather difficult, so I should hope for survival

What about the 4th matchup? Are the players around to put their placeholders at least?

I'm kind of dissapointed we've gotten so few entries at this point. Surely it doesn't take that long? I generally just sit down and write the whole thing in one go.

I'll have mine up by the end of the week, Captain Complainy. But yeah, we need more stuff - specifically everyone's death posts.

I've moved up from 1/3 to 1/2 done.
The new job is sucking up my life at the moment, but I'll get there.

Aaargh!
I started my entry on my work computer. Knowing I'm behind on posting, I emailed it to myself so I could work on it tonight. I just tried to open it, but my work computer saved it in docx format. I tried to change it, but my computer doesn't like me..... Any advice on how to change the file from docx to doc?

Hmmm, I don't think it's possible unless you have Word 2007 at home.

I give up. I went to microsoft, downloaded and installed the recommended pack and it gave me some message along the lines of "there is no application on this computer which benefits from this service pack"
I guess I'll have to resave the damn thing as a doc file at work.
Sorry.... :'(

docx is a bitch of an extension, nothing uses it except for the last two Words, really. I usually just save everything in notepad now if I'm sending it to a different computer, at least .txt are common.

I'd go with at least *.rtf for formatting. :S
But I'm 95% sure there's a converter out there. Or you could just d/l office 2007.

You don't need the death posts before proceeding, do you? I wasn't really planning on writing mine until late April, after exams....
