I'd like to use my power on Kessobahn.

Ampelas
No several people haven't sent their actions in.... So no worries.
Oh phew!
Well now that I am caught up, I have been thinking a bit and got torn, so I am a little unsure of where to go with this.
Atm I have 3 powers at my disposal and I am not sure what to do, just had a great thought, I want to claim Cicero!
And I could do it if I used my guard on Kess at the right time tongue.gif
Decision time from Ampelas
Yes if you are guarded it counts toward you using that power...I believe. Tapper will have the final say when he gets on...

And if he dies, well oh well so be it....
Btw if I get blocked while using a power, do I lose the power or not?

We are waiting on Mockra I think.
Also shadow is making a lot of sense right now. Shame he is talking to a bunch of Republicans... :snigger:
I am off for a while still waiting on night to end.

Sir Korlat, reading the game pretty well:
Quote
My guesses at people's factions:
Republicans: Korlat, Hood's Path, Rashan, Galayn Lord, Liosan
Brutii: Mockra, Shadow, D'riss, Emurlahn
Julii: Ampelas, Kessobahn, Ruse, Serc, Kaschan, Gamelon
Mockra and Shadow are obvious.
Emurlahn was trumpeting his desire to be recruited a bit too loudly, which makes me think he's no longer Republican.
Serc was pegged pretty early as a Julii - I'm not 100% about that one though...
Ruse has been acting a bit oddly, I suspect him of being of a different faction.
Unless GL or Liosan was converted away immediately after I went for them they must still be Republican, so I'm fairly safe with them...my little bird keeps assuring me that HP is Republican, and I went after Rashan today (unless he has more recruit proofs up his sleeves...seems unlikely).
So I'm thinking tomorrow night I'll target Ampelas and Ruse.
I think all I need to do now to pilot my faction to victory is to skirt the line between appearing Republican to my enemies and Julii in my friends. Slightly easier said than done, but we'll see how it goes.

I recall writing a msg for the night to Brutus who was complaining thathe doesn't know anything
you have my provisional, right?
also, to clarify--the NK-power's not just a one-shot, but the recruitment thing is,
is that correct?

More Shadow, good grasp of the situation.
You did submit a message.
And yes, the recruit is a one-shot.
cool, cool
hmm, i'll try to keep you entertained by writing out my thought process
15 players left
5 Brutii
Mockra
me
Serc
D'riss
Emu- JA
Republicans
Kesso Cicero
Rashan - super-predator type Truimpator DiBs
Ampelas finder, paired with Gamelon -alt146
Gamelon paired with Ampelas - Morgoth45
Liosan (?) n- Pontifex, Gavin?
Julii
HP-Counter
Ruse - Guard
Korlat
Galayn Lord?- The dude/Kurt
Kaschan?
the the last 2 I'm not sure about
if they're Reps, we're fucked anyhow.
right now it's either 5:5:5 or 5:6:4 or 5:7:3
either way, Reps are in a very good position to grow.we have to stop that somehow.

No worries. It looks like we need an action from Mockra and D'riss....sigh... Provisionals are such a must. I understand the players irritation. Oh well.
I will probably just pop in once in a while. We have 10 inches of snow so I probably won't be going out tonight. Yeah winter... I am hoping that they get their actions in by tomorrow. Cause Sunday could be a great day.

Ruse...
Actually I think that this is a good idea...
Quote
Well now I am seriously considering whether coming out as a julii may actually be sensible as i sort of over did and most of them have worked it out anyway because as an outed I can openly oppose shadow and give a spokesman for the julii like shadow is providing for the brutii.

D'riss
I think your night action has been lost somewhere along the road, would you please re-submit it?
Oh, and posting stuff in spoilers.

Good try, Shadow, but there's no way Mockra can survive the next day without painting every single Brutii a massive target on their foreheads.
Only way now is to get it done, hope that Shadow is bullshitting about our tiny numbers (which I fear he isn't, unfortunately), and try and move away from Brutii lynches for a while. Hopefully pick up a couple of Rep lynches as collateral damage.
At least if I'm pretending to be Rep, I can still act surprised if we "accidentally" lynch one. I'd like rid of Rashan and Korlat, but suspect they're both Julii... so I guess HP is the next choice, as the guy who derailed the Thyrllan lynch.
Blarg.

Mockra-Gavin
Ah, I messed up there. That's what you get when you think mostly about mechanics and not about text.
Sigh.
Your hidden power is activated when you die, regardless of whomever kills you. And should have gone to Gem.
But... Anthony's text states... upon reveal. So, Shadow has them now, knows what they are, but sleeping, until the moment you die.
So, sadly, no upgrade for you
Great so your giving them to Shadow the other Brutii whose been exposed? Can't you give them to Serc or Emurlahn
I'll Recruit Ruse.
Sure it won't go through, but nothing else I can do.
Sorry, it's set in the rules that they go to a specific person. I know it dooms the Brutii, but that's the game.
Right, well damn whose holding the game up? I look forward to my speed lynch tomorrow so then I can hit spoilers and read the set up. I have my rant about the unbalanced set up all ready to go if its how I think it is. I'm just warning you now, been saving it up for a day or two now
we're waiting, and waiting, and waiting.
I've PMed them, hopefully they'll respond shortly.
As for the rant: bring it on... we're prepared to hear it and were ready when we started the game.

Well I had a rant prepared but I can't be bothered. From my point of view Brutii has no chance, and the Brutus role is a complete nonesence.
No matter how well I played or did anything I was always going to be killed day 3 or 4 through no fault of my own. Whats the point in having a cult where the leader is exposed to everyone via a role? Not just a random find or anything but Brutus specifically the leader of the cult. Brutii never had a chance

I disagree, there, but your mileage may vary - Brutus had no chance, yes.
Longinus, with the target immunity + kill, would have been a real strong killer, and would have had backup from someone who could communicate: Ment.
The pain right now is just that Ment has revealed and Longinus is dead.
