Here's a question. Where in the fuck do you get schematics from? All I've seen is the Rock-It Launcher and the Bottlecap Mine.

Isnt it a reward from the quest where you get the dude from "the family"?

Got it on xbox because
a) it runs nice and sweet installed to hd
and :) I can play it in the bedroom and my gf doesnt think im a geek (ok so she does, but thats not why :( )

Fave gun - Lincolns repeater :)

Also, even though the "old school" perspective of fallout has been lost... sometimes change is for the better :(

Yeah, you can get the Shishkebab from Vance in "The Family" questline.

Other ones...they pop up here and there.

Power armour = win. OK, so the BoS and Enclave stuff isn't so useful when it's not repaired...but that Ranger armour is nothing, NOTHING, compared to a fully repaired suit.

And props to anyone who finds the T-51 prototype armour without checking the 'net for it. I got it accidentally - I literally took almost no damage from most encounters after that. ^^

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Just to explain, the "Family" quest chain, starts in the bar in Megaton. It's a woman who asks you to deliver a letter to her family.

I know what you mean, I have max repair and its easy to get them full up but the pack rat in me enjoys carrying every single gun I have. So add power armor to the mix and I get overencumbered. Maybe I'll put some weapons in the locker but its not quite as fun heh.

Ah, I see.

Yeah, that is annoying. But it's the price you pay for the best armour in the game. ^^

Sadly, I don't have the pack-rat mentality when it comes to guns. I just carry what I like, and sell everything else. :(

That pack-rat mentality is actually a problem for me aswell, only it's the other way around. It's probably from playing too much WoW, but I find myself trying todrop as much weight as possible so that I can collect stuff and sell it for caps. It's become so bad that I'll kill a dozen or so guys and have to return immediatly to Megaton, because otherwise I wont also have room for sensor modules, steamgauges, etc.

And it's not like I'm running low on caps I have nearly ten thousand and not really anything to spend them on :(

I deal with that by dumping off all construction-like equiptment at my Megaton house right next to the toolbench.

And I've started the Family quest a while back, went up there to deliver it and was going to look for the family, but got sidetracked by Big Town and started looking for hostages and now am in a world of pain. Between the warewolf looking guys, super mutant masters, the Talon assholes, and everything else that seems to be concentrated in whatever area I'm now in...it's pretty much a fight for survival, and the quest is on the backburner right now.

Werewolf looking guys? Do you mean those Deathclaw thingies? I met one up north at Vault... 112? Perhaps. It chewed me up and spat me out before I knew what happened. As soon as I reloaded I was out of there faster than a Sewer Ghoul can run.

I think I might go back soon and get my revenge.

Best thing to do with Deathclaws is Dart Gun them so they're crippled and not half as fast(Though still quick enough), and then magnum them. A lot.

Laster Lycaon Lisheo, fair fights just aren't fair against big mutantreptileohgoditsfastsuperpoweredlizardthings.

You have a dartgun? Where did you get this or build it? I've got tons of darts, just don't know what to use them for. They're obviously ammo since they have no weight.

Also I finally reached level 20 and took the explorer perk. Damn, there's a hell of a lot of locations for me to seek out. And I've already been doing a lot exploring from one end of the map to another.

I'll be damned if I can remember where I got the schematics, but yeah. It's fantastic, as weapons go. Instant cripple for both legs. Puts an end to those fast things that go too fast. :D

Fast things like the ghouls I normally don't mind getting close, that just means my twelve consecutive headshots in VATS are going to be so much more accurate :D

Also I love my flaming sword for melee. Best moment was when I surprised two supermutants from above first with a frag grenade and then I leaped down and severed the firsts head clean of the shoulders and hacked the other ones burning body to death. Sooo satisfying.

Oh, you mean the Yo-gai. They're mutant blackbears. Not wolves. I've found a den of theirs far out west.

The ripper is crap in my opinion, no where better than the shishkebab.

The only thing in the game that is my bane is the stupid dog. No matter what we fight the dog seems to get the aggro even though I am using a flamethrower or minigun or other heavy weapon. What's up with that? Then the dog gets killed in like 3 hits sparking a reload last save. Thanks.

So I still can't find the damn Family. And I think I wasted a perk on the Mysterious Stranger since the mystery now is where the hell is he? He hasn't shown up once. Knew I should have gone with the Scrounger.

Hehe.

Family - go to Northwest Seneca Station. Go to Ghoul making ultrajet. Go into sewer grate. Kill Mirelurks. Enter train station. Turn left at broken train. Find person standing guard. Talk. Go further into the Family's lair.
