lol yeah im trying to get on for longer periods of time so i can post more substance. its been hard up till now!! started new job last week, miss the student life :) lol

im torn between tapper and dibs

dam dam dam

swaying towards tappers train of thoughts

EDIT: dammit now im just stuck in the middle again. i hate fence sittin. i wana go apocolyptic lol. but there's so little to go on!!

a lot of these theories are based on very little and as such it'll come down to a stab in the dark (so to speak lol) to determine where we shud go next.

low posters could be up to anythin

The main point of my post is the first part. I don't care if you vote for Gem or for me or for whoever: that's short-term effects. I think the connection between Gem and me is pretty solid and will be a convenient start for whoever wants us lynched, hence me voting for her now: we're pretty much sitting ducks. Probably unlucky timing due to timezones or whatever, but dragged out because we were both on in the weekend and voting for Lace.
A 12 year old can make the obvious link.
Hence me voting for her: I know I am inno, she might be, but I'd rather not take chances and this way, I can prove that I'm not beyond sacrificing my faithful companion for the greater good. Of course, that's a double edged sword, cause if she comes up inno, I just might be a killer using her lynch to plead innocent myself. So, I pretty much think that both her days and mine are numbered and that we doomed one another throughout the weekend. Sorry for that, Gem :)
As said, it is NOT what I want to bring across primarily.

What I do want to say is this: there was a lynch train there consisting of 5 applied votes and 2 more promised if we could make the lynch. That's Morgoth at L-3, which, with 3 hours on the clock and probably less, should be a dead Morgoth, normally.
Then a second train starts on a guy voting in the first. It builds speed pretty fast and the people who vote for it from L-5 up are the ones under suspicion right now: the ones for who the target did not really matter and the ones who changed votes for it. The people who were lynching for the lynch.
Yet the start and build-up was before they came in the picture.

The starters of both the Morgy-train and the alt-train haven't been questioned/ scrutinized yet aside from a mention by DiBs on the possibility of Gavin being a killer, and The Dude. Neither got a lot of attention, which is weird. especially if you see how much attention the possible lynch of Lace and the people on that train got.

Instead, the middle part has been enlargened: Venge, Gem, me as diverting attention away from Morgoth. Never mind that two of the three had pledged their vote in the exact same way as they did on Morgoth: show us the lynch, and we vote. The mercenaries, the ones who want a lynch and didn't care who.
So, either the ones enlargening this middle/second part of the second train wanted to divert attention from the train starters or from the first train, and/or the starters of the second train wanted a diversion resulting in a lynch/ no lynch at all, or they were using the presence of certain individuals on the second train to push for a lynch. Your call.

im inclined to agree with where your thinkings takin you

as im rereadin rite now i'll take it into account

im personally discountin the obvious plays for players like morgy or gem, and lookin at the other players involved in the morgy train, the alt train and the lace train.

there are quite a few wee links that overlap between 2 or even all 3 of the trains. links pointing to plpayers which havnt received mush adverse attention as a result of there efforts to lynch

just tryin to find them agen for details lol

My vote was about 10 minutes before the hammer vote. I had gone back and looked harder at Alt. I wasn't in the middle of the train I was down at the caboose. I didn't harass anyone but myself. It was basically me having a conversation with myself and Dibs. Who did I harass nobody. I did say that I thought that he was going to come up innocent. Which seems to be the whole argument against me. Sweet jesus how many times have we lynched people who turned up innocent. If you can't make a guess that a person who doesn't have anyone defending them and is about to get lynched in the last half of an hour on day one is in all probability going to be innocent you need serious help.

Cross-post.

Call me naive, then, whenever I vote someone I hope for a guilty CF.

And this is a CF game, I'm amazed at how many times I read "X defends Y so X might be partner/symp of Y". It also applies to your comment about nobody defending alt. The fact that no-one defended Alt didn't mean, to me, that alt was inno, just that if he was guilty his partners must already be on the train and voting for him. You are just trying to justify why you "felt" (i.e. knew) he would come up inno.

Anyways, I leave my vote there, and off to DiscoDreams I go.

JA that comes into being later on in the game not on the first day. If a killer is going to get got then his symp will usually try almost anything to get his boss to live through the first night. I have done it and so have you....er.....Ok well at least I have... :)

After I voted I went back and took a look at the start of his train. Nobody spoke against it...period...If he had been a killer someone would have...If he was a symp then no one would have....Ergo I figured that he was probably going to come up innocent. I didn't see him being a symp and drawing that much attention day one.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

What are you on about Tapper, there's no connection, just because someone says there are doesn't mean there are any, or even that there are any real signs of it. Trying to get an easy inno lynch?

Not exactly, Gem. As I said in my less long post: I want to draw attention to the Morgoth train and the start of the alt146 train.

The sad thing about us: you and I were both looking for a lynch there on day 1, and we both volunteered for Morgoth and then for alt. We then got branded for it during the weekend, where once again we voted for Lace, one after the other. We then get voted for by Silencer, again, us. Lace has been calling attention to us as well as being in cahoots, DiBs mentioned it as well.
All in all, the link is too obvious not to make and potentially too dangerous to let slide by, even if it would be incredibly clumsy play from us both if we were scum / killer-symp, and you at the least are generally above that level :)
So, I anticipate a trip to spoiler heaven soonish as the opportunity and possible 'evidence' of us acting in accord is just too visible. The sole question people could ask themselves is: would Tapper call extra attention to it if he was scum, or is he trying to get an inno lynched before he goes himself.

As said, it's a regrettable sideeffect of my earlier long post.

@ Lisheo, like I said, I don't think the Venge case is strong at all, I feel the Morgy case has more merit. Therefore I voted Morgy. If that looks Sympish, fine. but from what I gather, I have been suspected of symping Morgy, and a symp who kills his killer seems pretty stupid. Especially this early when there are 2 other lynch candidates to divert attention to. I threw my vote when I did because I have meetings all through the afternoon and am not sure if I will be around for days end.

Tapper, I didn't even notice what you were voting for tbh, and I don't see how we both wanting a lynch would constitute a connection of any kind.

Edit: after all there were more people voting for alt.

Ah, what the fuck.

Remove vote.
Vote Lacedaemonian.

He's suspicious for me 'cause he either knowingly or unknowingly called attention to the wrong part of the train. Better voting for someone I judge to be suspicious than voting for someone who could very well be an inno online at an unfortunate time, having the same thoughts as I had. So, no Gem vote from me.

Was exactly the point of my argument all along: there were 5 on either train before we both decided to offer our votes in case it leads to a lynch.
Set it right now by removing my vote.

Nope, we haven't. There was an itsybitsy bit of text after his vote on you because it came straight after Gavin's case, but none whatsoever for the vote on me.

Well, cross-posts are the most annoying thing, especially if someone posts something that completely wrecks your argument before you post it :)

Silencer briefly explained it at some point, I voted for him but removed my vote after that message. I cant remember his argument, but it made some small bit of sense, enough to justify removing my vote.

EDIT: Or maybe I was just imagining it then lmao
