I did not have as good of an interview as I had hoped. It went ok, but not great. Then my friend who already works there said they interviewed someone else on Friday and were super impressed. So, I think I did not get the job, which makes me sad.

Most of the people I talk to on a regular basis are in NZ.... I have started talking to myself more than usual :)

BIOLOGY

YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I have to be up at 7am.

To add to the groove messing - due to being feverish and unwell, I spent the majority of today sleeping on and off. As such, I am far too awake to sleep now.

Times like these I wish I had a bottle of tequila. Better than warm milk.

I ripped the knee of one of my sets of black work pants while taking them off yesterday.

Who the hell rips the knee of their pants?

Messing with my groove further. With other work pants in the laundry, I laid out a pair of really dressy pants to wear today...woke up and realized with my recent weight loss that they don't fit me at all...even with a belt on. Time to do laundry I guess.

My 16-year-old "responsible" "college-bound" born-again christian cousin got pregnant. Her parents are of course likewise born agains, staunchly conservative, both currently unemployed, and yet my insane uncle is apparently just happy to finally become a grandfather. Pretty awesome.

I bet they're rethinking that whole abstinence-only sex education stance now.

The price of camera related stuff in Ireland is ridiculous. Was checking out things like memory cards and nearly died of fright. The same card in 2 irish stores, 199euro, and 190 euro. In B&H Photo in New York, approx 72 euro!!!! Now the prices for me to order off amazon.co.uk are cheaper, but nowhere near that B&H Photo figure. So frustrating.

Same thing for extra batteries. Massive overpricing here.

Surprisingly, the microphone i need to buy is actually cheaper in Europe (but still not cheap).

To the gent in preac today who mistakenly believes his 3-wk old veneer of body odour is a perfect compliment to his fossilized thongs,
I would genuinely like us to reconnect before you have your knee operation, at least so the OT does not need a full hazmat sanitation team afterwards.
Yours sincerely,

I'm shit at cooking. Or this session is going to shit. Cake's out of the menu after I had 225g of cocoa in the mix. A flash of abashed realization of my own ineptitude came as I tried to whip it into four lonesome eggs. Alright, I've got homemade vanilla ice cream and strawberries still. The chocolate cake would have been beautiful alongside it, but it can manage on its own. Then, as I go through the greens I bought just two hours ago, I am throwing away over half the bag of spinnach for poor quality. I stand there wondering why the hell I bought this, all the while thinking that this may not be enough for the main dish, which is really really bad. Got no backup plan for that one. I may have to run to buy some more, but I am also supposed to have this ready in two to three hours. And I haven't even started on the appetizers.

Yeah, you people think you've got it bad. Fuck you.
