Write long, hopefully logical, well-thought-out, reasonable, intelligent and scathing rant on some topic or other (usually something from the news, or some related socio-political topic). Realize, often while in the midst of writing, that very few people are going to read any of it, fewer are going to care, and even less are going to bother responding in any fashion (barring perhaps a 'like' or two). Realize later that, should many people actually bother to do any of those things, you wouldn't have the time nor the energy to respond to them in turn if they actually bothered to argue with you, because it'd be like arguing a brick wall (most probably) or a potentially entertaining repartee with some friend playing Devil's Advocate (*nods at Lucifer's Heaven). Not exactly a lot of effort goes into this, mind, because it's very easy to rip some of these news articles apart. It's more the time spent than anything. And the depressing realization that the reason dictatorships have continued cropping up is because not enough people actually care about anything anyway. And they're certainly not all going to agree with you. Thus it's easier to force your will upon others, even if just for a while, to try and make the world work 'properly'. And then, realize again - the reason so many dictatorships are horribly oppressive is because the people who are both willing and able to go that far are all insane. Great.

Thus, I consign myself to the occasional Facebook-breaking rant for no-one to read. *sigh* And it's 2am again.

...apologies for the lack of paragraphing in that first chunk. It's a mini-rant. :p And you all read Malazan, so no complaining about the length. :D"

That first paragraph could go next to "Internet" in the dictionary. LOL. It's all so true. Don't worry, I feel the same way every time I set out to make such posts...

All I took away from that was the fact that you kept using 'z' in place of 's'.

Well, you can use your silly little s's for written missives, WE invented the internet.

I'm annoyed because I just realized I've now wasted all the money I spent on books for my nook (to be fair, not a great deal), unless I get a new one.

Thought I'd have time to get to the Synergy Gallery in Northcote and get back in time so I don't miss the bulk of my brother's 21st birthday.

It is increasingly starting to not look that way.

Tomorrow is the first long weekend of summer. I should be spending it at the beach, camping, etc., but I will be working all three days. Because of how busy/understaffed we are I get to work twelve days straight. At least my office has windows, so I can see the bright sunny days everyone else gets to enjoy.

Scratch that last one, my brother's 21st is not on tonight. Instead, it's on next week, when there was going to be a big sleepover with my drama classmates. Fuckkkkkkkkkkk.

Alright. I'm gonna admit this and the go to sleep.

I apologize for any tensions, outbursts, rants from me for the past lets say 9 months.

I've been in a really emotionally vulnerable and dark place, but I refused anyone's help.

I'm not a bad person, just weak. Someday soon I'm going to be better. I just don't know when.

i have been in dark places too, i wont say i know how you feel for as a wise man once said: "how can you know what another person feels?" but know this, the fact that you admitted to your weakness is a show of strength, and there is healing out there for those who seek it...

Last of 4 days off today. Back to work tomorrow.

We need to alter the flow of perceived time in the universe, so good times go on forever and bad times just blink by. I want Adam Sandler's remote (with a few corrections).

Depends on whether it's male or female.

But if it's a male, I'd go with MAPPO RUNT (Shortened to MAPPO). The very definition of loyalty in the books, and even has black hair. And depending on whether you are a native english speaker or not, an easy name to shout out loud if need be (and won't get you strange looks if calling your dog in public).

Can't think of an obvious female character yet, but i'll post one if i can

Winner winner, chicken dinner. Or maybe Ghelel.

But any Hound name will do. Doan, Ganrod, Baran, Pallick. Gear is the obvious favorite, but I like Shan because it's black.
