Call Cave Johnson. He probably has some apparatus laying about, and he's known for his charitable nature towards fellow scientists (and humans in general).

Possibly going out field on Monday off-and-on for 2 weeks.

Currently praying for more rain, enough at least to get it called off. :(

Feeling ripped off with my latest Master's course, Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, it feels like they threw a shit ton of math at a problem to sound smart but it seems that there is no connection to the real world... I also think I should have been able to test out of it as I've been doing this on a freaking daily basis for the last 6.5 years at my job.

I swear my mind is like a sieve these days. I keep forgetting people's names and even meetings I've just attended. I think I just need sleep...

Ugh. That feeling where, even though it's a nice Saturday, you're just chilling out, slept in, etc, you feel like you've been going non-stop straight over from Friday. :S What's up with that? How the hell can I feel tired, when I literally couldn't even doze beyond 11am this morning?

Maybe I need to go do some exercise or something. O.o But this just sucks. And it's making me lethargic and grouchy, on one of the few day's I have free at the moment! ARGH!

Was taking it easy watching the F.A. Cup matches this afternoon, and they just had to abandon the second game after one of the Bolton players (Fabrice Muamba) collapsed on the field. Despite being treated on the pitch for over 10 mins, he hadn't yet been revived by the time they brought on the stretcher.

Having had this happen to a team-mate before (who was only 19, but thankfully survived) it really puts all the sports rivalries in perspective.

Praying that there is a positive outcome to this.

Shit, that sucks. My dad and siblings play a lot of hockey and a friend of theirs collapsed on the pitch during a game about a decade ago and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, I really hope this guy recovers.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

19 year old girls who show an extraordinary interest in and splendid cleavage to me. Her friends urging me on into making a move for her isn't exactly helping either, considering she is practically jailbeat and I'm 12 years her senior. Where were these women when I was 20, or even 25, dammit?* :wallbash:

Sorry Ray.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

It's St. Paddy's day right? Wrong...well sort of. Every few years when St. Paddy's falls on a weekend we have to go out that day to celebrate a friends birthday. This was one of those years, and the friend likes to go to the skankiest, dirtiest club in Toronto, where the music is 3 times louder than it should be, and the majority of people there just want to be slimey idiots. It is, a microcosm of the very WORST that a "club" has to offer. $7 tiny beers (that taste like ass) and everybody shoving by you and then mouthing off if you didn't fuck off out of their way fast enough...

Yeah, that was my night.

...oh and I'm sober as a priest on Sunday because I'm not spending craploads of money on shitty beer in a place I loathe.

Woo...bloody...hoo.

Hahahahahaha, 'jailbait'. America is so funny with the whole 18 thing. ;)

And yes, you're right, that's exactly where those women were when you were younger. :p

Came home, still sick from a bad hangover. I was intending on flaking out on my bed for the rest of the day, but found that someone had taken the liberty of opening up all my windows, and leavign them that way all week...
So the carpet is now growing mold, and the floor is one big puddle. (the rain)
It wouldn't irritate me as much if this wasn't the second time my step-dad has done this...
If I look back, I am lost.

That's terrible! How do you even go about fixing that? Mold is insidious.

It is! I had a mold problem under my bathroom sink a few years ago (leaky pipe) and it took forever to get rid of it. I used bleach, lots and lots of bleach. I don't know if that's what I should have done but I'm still alive and not ill...as far as I know.

That said, my groove is being messed with because I'm playing Dark Souls on the PS3 and it's kicking my ass, literally. I've been trying to defeat these two Bell Gargoyle Demons for 4 days and I can't and it's getting on my last nerve. Last night I had to stop because I was getting so pissed that I got a migraine. :wallbash: Ironically enough, aside from the constant death it's a great game!
