Being an angry drunk is a sign of your masculinity. Only the best of us can smash tables and throw people through windows while inebriated.
And perform acts unthought of while one retains conscious control of his/her body. Like attempting to take care of unwanted body waste, liquid and solid, in the presence of the general public and in the general public's property such as that patch of manicured land where commuters and commuting vehicles pass. Like jumping off a roof. Like trying to kick cars.
the 1 milion dollaz question is: was said car in mortion at the time?
Unfortunately, it wasn't. Unfortunately, the driver didnt have an inflated opinion of himself otherwise he would have taken the trouble to put up a display of masculinity for the benefit of his ego and a supposed audience filled with the opposite gender.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Yeah, tiam requested a ban in order to increase productivity at work or some such stupidity.

Not sure if this is the right place for this but anyways...
I am currently reading The Lies of Locke Lamora & I'm halfway through it & really enjoying it... I also have the second one lined up on the Kindle but I recently discovered there are another 5 books to come!! Is it worth continuing with this or should I stop after book 1 & wait? I wish I'd checked it before I started reading... I don't do well with waiting and I have plenty of other books to bide my time with... Anyone read the second one? Worth reading and just man up for the wait?? When is the next one out?

The third one is available for pre-order on bookdepository.co.uk, but won't actually be published until mid-October.

The third one will be published: ???? Lynch has gone through some struggles and has had a hard time writing it. His publisher is supporting him and not pushing him to finish it by a certain date.
Both good reads, btw. Will buy Republic of Thieves when it comes out straightaway.

Both books released so far are quite stand alone (though Red Seas does follow on from Lies), so you should be fine. You're not left waiting on a cliffhanger ending in either book. It's more like returning to a world of familiar characters.
As for what's messing with my groove, it's the crappy internet connection i have here in Ireland. Just wanted to browse a few songs on youtube and it had an absolute spasm.

I couldn't find an FML thread, and I couldn't be bothered to create a new one. So here goes:
My mates and I, we watch a fair bit of TV. Not excessively, but enough that a substantial part of our humour derives from stuff that we've seen on the TV screen. Having seen The Wire (and a number of other organised crime films and series), we started messing about with Russian accents. One would say something to another in a Russian accent, and the other would respond with a Russian accent. It's not really that funny now, we just do it as a reflex. Well, today I was working the front desk at the faculty and this bloke came in with a paper in his hand. With a moderately thick accent, he said, "I haveeeh, ex'am for yoo." To which I replied, "Exam, dah! Good! What uuhh, ex'am?" It was only when he continued talking in the same accent I realized I'd just made a complete and utter tit of myself. The rest of the conversation was conducted in a strict Oxford accent, without a mention of previous lapse in pronunciation.

WTF? Seriously? Are you kidding me?
I just finished half of my bloody maths assignment - all by hand, mind you - only to check my emails this morning to find a reminder (how is it a reminder when it wasn't noted it the first bloody place???) that you are NOT allowed to use commas when seperating places of 100 i.e 100,500 or 13,456,000. Because apparently in some countries a comma is used instead of a fullstop/period to represent the decimal point. Which is cool except for the fact that we have ALWAYS USED IT IN AUSTRALIA!!! Now I have to go back and re-write the entire fucking first half of my assignment minus the commas. No one but myself and my marker arr going to see my assignment - surely I could keep the bloody commas but NO that would be descriminating against people from other mathematical cultures. What about MY mathematical culture? FFS! And seriously? Mathematical culture? Pull your fucking head out!
Grrrraaaahh!!!
Edit: My anger harmed my spelling
