Just worked six hours hungover as shit and on an hour of sleep, and had to walk home in the rain to boot. Self-infliction aside, it has not been a good day so far.

Holy crap the women I work with can drink. I am feeling somewhat worse for wear today!

To this day, I have met one person in my entire life who could drink as much as teholbeddict apparently could. What happened to her?

My groove is off-kilter because of a woman. She's one of those tantalizing types who goes through a cycle that sucks me in every time: a little bit of wonderfulness, gone for a while, a little bit of wonderfulness, gone for a while. At least I handled it vastly better this time and haven't pinned all my plans on her.

Everyone should believe in something.

For my part, I believe I'll have another drink. :)

That sucks :) Sorry to hear!

My older brother is casually having sex upstairs with some skank he met last night at a club. With myself and the younger siblings in the house. I know I'm not exactly a white knight, but I was never this blatant, nor did I ever do more than fool around a bit. Can't say I'm comfortable with this.

Starting to be pretty convinced that, after years of telling everyone you have brown eyes, you *may* actually have central heterochromia and therefore those people *weren't* just being weird when they said "You don't have brown eyes, do you?" and looking at you funny...not sure exactly what it's doing to my groove, but it's weird to suddenly realize you were probably wrong. >.<

Which eye? By 'central' I take it you mean 'partial'? Too bad you don't have complete heterochromia - you'd look cute with different coloured eyes ;)

Central means both his eyes are the same, but he's got a distinctly different colour around the pupil to the rest of the iris.

That's highly uncommon, usually you either have complete heterochromia which is when both eyes are different colours or partial heterochromia which is when one eye has a band of colour different to the rest of the iris - it usually isn't seen in both eyes. Unless it is due to illness of course i.e mercury poisoning. EDIT: Said pupil instead of iris ;)

Shiara wins the point. :p

Indeed, central heterochromia means an inner colour and an outer colour - in my case, brown closer to the pupil (and therefore not the 'true' colour of my eye, apparently...d'oh) and the outer is more akin to green-gold. And yeah, though I have to say I think I would've noticed complete heterochromia a *long* time ago. XD

Basic reading, courtesy of Wikipedia - obviously it's not quite as distinct, but if you take the topmost picture as reference, that's fairly close - though in that case, the outer colour of my eyes is more like the inner colour of that topmost one. :)

Granted, brown and green-gold are not hugely distinctive colours, especially from a distance - but it's actually pretty damn noticeable now that I've, er, noticed. Though I think in the heterochromia wars I've lost, 'cuz complete heterochromia is *way* cooler, imo. >.<

Central/Partial it's pretty much the same thing. Point is, if you have it in both eyes then there is a better chance that it is an acquired condition then a natural one.Though that likihood is obviously reduced if you have a parent with partial heterochromia in both eyes ;)

Yup, though as far as I can tell neither of them do - my dad's definitely blue-eyed and my mum's eyes are *pretty* solidly brown. So I shall do further research, I think. ;)

I have 'fake' partial heterochromia in both eyes - my eyes are blue with a light brown ring around the pupil. My dad has the same coloured eyes. Apparantly it is common knowledge (though I'm not sure if any stats support it) that people with blue eyes have a greater likihood, or at least, are more common to have partial heterochromia in both eyes Though that's usually 'fake' partial heterochromia. ;) At least, that's what my opthalmologist told me once. But yeah, you may want to see a doctor if it concerns you as acquired partial heterochromia can be linked to future eye problems depending on the cause.

I have a mild version I think - pale gold around the pupil with grey/green/blue irises. My brother has similar coloured eyes, but I think my sister is more solid blue.

That looks more like 'fake' partial heterochromia - it has to be a solid band. Just realised I said I had 'partial' instead of 'fake' in my previous post - woops! The older you get the more common such colouration is in people with light coloured eyes. EDIT: GAH! Keep forgetting to type all necessary words!!!
