Thanks so much for the good wishes, it warms the cockles of my heart.

I spent the day at the hospital yesterday and mom is doing well, all things considered. She came through the surgery with flying colors and her speech is already improving but she's still pretty weak on the right side and will need lots of physio and stuff. It's just kind of freaky to see the draining tube in her head and stuff like that, but I figure this too shall pass.

Thanks again to everyone, I really appreciate it.

Sooooo I take my cat to the vet for her 3rd round of shots and oh! her little heart murmur hasnt gone away.

So of course I cant get her fixed till they know if its serious or not.

So of course she goes into heat while we're waiting to get her heart checked out.

Have you ever lived in an apartment with a cat in heat? HUH?

Plus, its gonna cost 300-500 bucks to get a damn ECG.

This cat is lucky its awesome.

I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Glad to hear that your mother is doing better Maia.

Groove is messed because of Valve's decision to push back the European release date of Lord of the Rings: War in the North from today towards
November 9th, a few days before the release of Skyrim..........

According to some people it's because of Warner Bros signing a deal with Origin and Valve is pissed about that.

Funny thing is that this morning the release date showed November 8th and this evening it has become November 9th already.

I woke up at 3am (cet) because of a car door slamming shut, now 4 hours later I still can't sleep while I'm tired as hell.

To get back on War in the North, the date has been miraculously been put back on November 4th by Steam so I really don't get what was going on yesterday.

Ouch, haven't heard of a ruptured ear drum since my dumbass friend got convinced to stick a stick in his ear when he was 4.

But around Berkeley, CA on the Hayward faultline. Tons of fairly small earthquakes these past couple weeks.
