Back from the memorial night for my friend who collapsed and died during a sponsored run several weeks ago. Good to see so many of my mates again, including ones I haven't seen for upwards of four years, I just wish it had been under better circumstances.

Ohhh, I've been there twice in the past year and all I can say is fuck 'em. Seriously, unless you've done something flagrantly horrible (killed their dog / girlfriend / mother, etc) then chances are they've decided to be douchey with you for no good reason. I had a former friend once accuse me of talking shit about her behind her back when all I did was ask a mutual friend of ours if everything was okay with friend A because she'd been very sad (to me) lately. Apparently that was enough to set her off on a rant about how I'm self-centered and think the world revolves around me, among other issues that she never brought up until we had our falling out. :p So...yeah...people who would just stop talking to you and not even say why are not worthy of being called friends.

1. I had a spike of 158/96 blood pressure yesterday at one point, with heart rate at 62 per minute. My usual results are very close to a 118/78 54 average. Stressed much?

2. It seems I might've been bitten several times by either bed bugs or chiggers. DAMN THE GODDAMN ITCH.

3. Due to the above, I got exactly 0 minutes 0 seconds of sleep last night. Just got to work and I already feel like it's the evening. Screw this shit.

4. Also, hungry.

"Obtaining" files online at 300kb/s.

Wireless network suddenly complains via DROPPING MY NET CONNECTION FOR NO REASON, despite the net itself still working on my wired 'top, the network still being up and connected to my wireless 'top, and therefore my files STOP DL'ing. We're taking 20Gb of files I need to get before departing the country tomorrow (to tide me over for the epic flight of dhoooom). So I fix the problem (restarting router solved it...something about duplicate IPs, which apparently Windows could only detect AFTER the conflict was resolved) and now? NOW I have only 40kb/s down speed. WTF. RAGE.

Also: ouch, Gothos. I will probably be unable to sleep tonight for a completely different reason... :p

Friend of mine and her Army boyfriend want to stay at mine after my 18th. No real bones about it, but there is an interesting little triangle at work. You see, there's this OTHER girl staying over that I quite like, but first girl seems to think I like her more than a friend. And she doesnt seem to like it, as she is taking steps to try and divide us. So if I allow it we are going to have an awks situation where if I try and talk to second girl, first girl will get pissy about it. AND on top of that people are complaining I live too far away. I've given them a month to plan ahead, what's their problem?

The prospect of summer rent and deposit for my new flat WITHOUT having a job on the horizon to buy me important things like...food.
Also the parentals finances ( and thus the livelihood of my younger siblings) looking extremely bleak as well.
