Flee!! Flee screaming and waving your hands in the air! :)

Or just nicely explain you aren't ready yet and you want to make sure you can buy a decent place together and not lose all your money in doing so :D

@Tremmie
Yeah mate, at 6 months she should be made aware that she is still on probation, and shouldn't be naming the kids or picking out the table decorations just yet. Or more importantly, attempting to direct your major financial decisions.

Keep your place for a while as you suss her out at this "second stage" of the relationship. Go to Manky if you want to - it's your life to do with as you will. If she really cares for you she will understand that a few days away isn't the end of her world. Similarly, she has to understand that compromise does not equal her getting her way all the time (something I wish quite a few people would take to heart). There will be plenty of other chances for you to give ground soon enough.

@Centz: Do you think Australia would accept me as a refugee?

@Sombra: You are ofcourse right. But I knew from the start that she was in a hurry and we agreed to give each other till christmas to find out if we wanted more. Apparantly that time is up and she is the planning kind of girl (Always with the calendar asking me for my plans on this and that day!). In short I just have to make my mind up. But her pushing me is making me panic.

Manchester is not gonna happen as I have made other plans now. :-(

If you can demonstrate that being with her is like being repressed by a totalitarian regime, just jump on a boat in Indonesia and you're in like Flynn. :)

This is obviously bloody important to you, so I guess it's something you really have to ask yourself rather than anyone else. We can only help you perhaps think of things from a different angle, not make your decisions for you.

Things that come to mind: just because she is on a schedule, does that mean you have to be as well? Are you a "planner", or at least flexible enough to be with one? Is being with her so damn good you are willing to change your ways for her? I'm not trying to be smarmy, these are things you should be asking yourself. If the answer in each case is in her favour then I wish you all the bestest happiness in the world. :D

Tremmie: Flee, you fool!

Why can't she just move into the apartment you already have?

On the other hand, me and my boyfriend have been together for 7 years and we still haven't bought a place together...didn't even move in together until three years into the relationship. And I thought that was a bit fast!!

How old is she if her biological clock is worrying her? I would apply the brakes gently. Surely the answer at christmas can be "I still really like you, I want to stay with you but I would prefer not to have a strict timeline for my life!" Life isn't really conducive to such planning. You can plan what you do on a daily basis but not when the major life decisions need to happen by.

I've broken a fucking toe.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Dare one ask how? Pray tell good sir, was it on the fundament of some miscreant?

The sorry part is I'm not sure how. Could be a stress fracture or a buckle.

Not as believable in RL as me just running into shit is, though.
