My mother has decided that "oh, we should have a friend of mine from California over! she can bring her six-year-old with her!" without bothering to ask what the rest of the family thought. So now I'm going to have to deal with the brat for five days by myself because my sister who is good with kids (I am most definitely NOT) is leaving for a week.
99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer, take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall...

Damn, this romance business is tricky shit. Been going out lately with a lovely lass. Just great. Actually feel like it could go somewhere.

But. She informed me this evening she's moving to Vancouver in September. Then she got super upset and we had to cut short the evening. So denied the nookie long-term and short-term. Egads!

Portal 2 is not on my computer, and to make matters worse, I don't have a 3DS. I want it in a way that I've never wanted consumer electronics before. I don't really even want it. I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW THE MAGIC WORKS!

I have to give a talk on nature photography tomorrow evening for 45 mins and i have basically nothing ready for it! Just can't seem to get into it at all. I know what the first 10-15 mins is about, but after that i'm stumped?

I just need to pick a some aspect of nature photography and go with that, but it's so bloody hard (and now i'll have loads of photo editing to do).
Do i pick loads and loads of images and set them to music and stand back (but need hours to get all those fades and transitions right on the computer)?
Or do i pick fewer images, forget the music and talk about the more interesting shots and take questions along the way?

I'd prefer the second option, but it still needs a coherent layout which is what's stumping me at the moment.

Still have to pack for my holiday, and I have to empty the fridge, put the garbage out, wash a load of clothes so I can go to work when I'm back, do the washing up, and oh, pack.

Sometimes I hate procrastrinating. It's mostly at the times when I realize I could be doing nothing now if only I did something earlier. Le sigh.
