I've got a really deep friction burn on the side of my face from playing RL on Saturday and it's causing me to have trouble sleeping, the fucker.

It did provide us with a funny moment on Saturday night though so it's not all bad.

It's a good of an excuse as any to explain how you got rugburn on your face, I suppose.

In all honesty it probably came of another mans arse/shorts so it's not a great story to start off with, the problem was that while I was explaining it over a beer, with it still red-raw and open, I had lime juice on my fingers and absent mindedly touched it - the pain was excruciating.

About an hour ago my roof started to leak...again. After it was supposedly "repaired" like 8 months ago. Posted Image I swear, I want to murder someone. Ideally this so-called roofer who obviously doesn't know how to fix a roof!

Well, you should have used a roofer who knows how to roof. There's your problem right there.

Get him to fix it again for free.

Messing with my groove: The only clean pair of pants I brought home for spring break is this pair that has no knees, holes in the pockets, rear, and a 15 inch tear up the back of one leg.

In short: Essentially not pants.

My project proposal. My supervisors want it shorter but they also want more techniques added, don't even think about leaving out detail! The more I write the more I see I need to write.

For reasons too boring to go into here, tommorow I need to tape up my back and hamstring and fake a huge injury/limping/writhing in pain rigmarole. Annoying, and I'm sure to slip up. Wish me luck.

Don't forget which leg you are supposed to be limping on.

I had a chicken chilli last night from Lal Haweli on the curry mile, washed down with a load of cider and it is very literally messing with my groove.

Students always write too much. Have pity on the poor buggers who have to read it  Don't sweat it. Just write down everything, then apply an editorial hacksaw to it. Take out every instance of repetition, exaggeration, fluff and waffle. Replace everything that can possibly be replaced with tables or figures and remember to stick to the point of the proposal.

I want to go Postal and kill a generic bystander out of angriness in a bloody and utterly unamusing (for him) way. Sadly, the law does not look kindly on random acts of violence committed out of workplace frustration.

Teacher I'm subbing for left a two day lesson plan based off of videos she did not provide. Nice. This should go well.

Writing a full marketing plan for an imaginary landscaping company is hard. I never ever want to run my own business. I like government work. Less thinking and more pay!

On the plus side I named my imaginary company "The Super Duper Landscaping Company" and that makes me laugh every time I type it.

Oh that's what the Facebook thing was about...

EDIT: Messing with my groove is the fact that I have so much to do this week, yet I can't seem to stop- playing Robot Unicorn Attack...

It was 60 deg F. earlier today.

I just looked outside, and it's snowing really, really heavily.

For the record, I live in California.

It worked out well, thankfully.

The problem NOW is that the chores I have to do are drive-a-fork-in-your-eye boring. We have to perform this liturgy thing over and over. Oh well.
