I hope cleaning your driveway won't be too...
Spoiler

I paid my lumberjackish-yet-gay (Terrrrrrible shame girls, terrible shame) neighbor a six back pack of Stone for it. He had a pressure washer and all. good as not quite new. Now I'm hungry and there's some venison in the freezer...

yes. yes I was fantasizing about getting a piggy back ride.

edito the third - SB: So I wasn't cool before huh?

You'd be cooler if you still loved the Hoosier State. Speaking of... that sounds very Midwesternish, are you in upstate NY? 'Cause I don't see that happening in Gotham.

Ray, deer, we are going to need an interpuntion.

Purple fish goddess I wish I was in the city. Instead I live far to the south, in the land of milk and cookies and near the square domain of the dread politicos.

And what part sounds midwesternish? Squiking a deer, or having a gay lumberjack for a neighbor?

I'm getting pretty furious with the solicitors doing the conveyencing on the flat I'm buying they just take days and weeks to do the most simple of tasks.

It's called the pork plague now, dontchano?.

I'm usually a type A person, but I'm only going to bed now. Exams do not agree with my sleep pattern.

A couple of things have my groove in a funk. Exams rapidly approaching, hot weather, sore shoulder from hell, toughest football training ever and it's only gonna get hotter.

I'm feeling pretty beat up at the mo.

The £3 million deal I was brokering fell through. The property was sold to another party even as I was puttting the finance together for my client. The biggest deal of my career down the toilet, because I met my client one month too late. Life's a bitch. Mind you, because the client loves me for trying I now have a gold class client that will bring me similar cases on a regular basis, gotta cling to sommat :w00t: .

Whatever it is, it's getting worse and I just got some shite news to top off a shite day. My employment contract is up at the end of this month. In September, I was offered 2 jobs: One high risk position that might fall through but offered better long term prospects and one no risk position that would have been dull and not right for my career plan.

Of course I picked the high risk one and it just fell through because the government are cutting back on health spending. B.O.L.L.O.C.K.S. Still, at least I'm employed until the end of March. I hate looking for jobs, it is soul destroying.

Still not sleeping well either.

@Mezla: Sorry to hear that. Depressing to think science research works that way, while a singing tart makes millions.

Lastly had to throw out the old house slippers. Yes rednecks wear house slippers.
Next stop, a move to Florida, plaid shorts, Hawaiian shirts, and sandals with black socks.

Move to Australia, we like sciencey types here :w00t: Good luck with the job hunt, it is neve fun but at least you don't have to look desperately for work over xmas break :w00t:

My brain is melting slightly from the insane amount of reading for work and study I am doing at the moment. I think I am absorbing about half of it. On the plus side I am getting through about a books worth of reading a day so half shoudl be enough if I read everything twice :)

One of my friends laziness is reaching worrying proportions. not that it is my problems, it will just suck for them if they lose their job and possibly their gf from simply being to lazy to put in effort/shop up.

STUPID!

Damn, too bad. Don't worry, Frook-one day, the Big Score will happen!

It's hotter than hell in my house-and I have to study for three exams in my unairconditioned room. Little wonder I'm here whiling away the time on Malaz.

Dusting off my cv. Alway depressing. It is a millions times better than the last time I had it out but I can only ever see the holes! And I have to write 2 versions of the bugger, one academic and one industrial. And everything you are ever taught about cv writing doesn't apply when you are in a really specialised field. Nobody gives a shit about my personal qualities unless they include "works really fucking hard" and I don't have much proof of that since I have only just started out relatively speaking.

NEUROSES!!! WAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
