Nonsense Hinter, Flymos are brilliant, once you've done the lawn if you're packing the guns for the job you can pick them up and trim the hedges with them, I wouldn't want to try that with a petrol mower.

Good point, but I've already forgotten where I put the extension lead!

@SB - it's a crappy electric lawn mower that (supposedly) creates a cushion od air underneath it so that it hovers over your lawn while you cut it.

Hence all the buggering about with extension leads etc. Not to mention the danger of mowing the cord and electrocuting yourself. Flymos are fail.

Ever heard of batteries?

But it doesn't really sound logical. If it's pushing down air to make lift, isn't it also flattening the grass? Making it sort of useless/inefficient.

A delivery date of September 4th for Dust of Dreams?

Flmos are fucking brilliant, I won't hear another bad word said about them. You can use them on grass, branches, ferns, ivy, dogs, rocks, fences...

I agree with this entirely, when you consider how user friendly such an expensive system should be it's baffling why it's such a steaming pile of shit.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

That's epic! That's like fucking technological wizardry! We are gods over this planet with our floating lawnmowers!

My groove is messed because I got a bad report from my Science teacher-who's a biatch.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

What's messing with my groove: short version:

On Saturday morning my water was cut off by people who are renting the store that's below my apartment because water was leaking from the ceiling. They refused to turn my water back on unless I called a plumber (I am NOT the landlord, by the way) even tho it was 30 degrees and felt like a sauna in my place and they never warned me that they were cutting my water.

So I called a plumber---paying time and a half, mind---for what I think is a quick job. He realized that the pipes coming down from my toilet were blocked, he spends over 3 hours trying to fix it / unblock it and can't! A few hours later the landlord calls HIS plumber only to find out that there's roofing tar blocking two-thirds of the drain so they have to rip out the blocked pipes and reroute the water supply (or something like that) so I can get my bathroom back. I've been living at my aunt's place since Saturday and I have no clue when I can go home AND my poor cat probably thinks I've abandoned him. Thank goodness my neighbor is taking care of him.

Yeesh...so there, short version of my bathroom drama. I paid $600 out of my own pocket and nothing has been fixed at all. And I have no mo-fo clue as to how roofing tar got down the drain. Roofing tar!

EDIT: Oh and about DOD... to quote a well known chicken, MOO HOO HAA HAAAA HA HA HA HA HAH!
