For impersonating Illy or did you ask the girl behind the counter whether she had some big breasts for you?

Man, I just wanted some chicken and orange juice. But noooooooo...

I got absurdly hungry after grappling for a couple hours and not eating much all day. After class, I stopped at the first place that wasn't a pizza parlor to get some kind of meat and fluids in my belly.

Guy in front of me used a hundred to buy like 20 dollars worth of food. He asked the cashier if she had change, because he didn't have enough cash otherwise. She said "Yeah" in a distracted, ghetto KFC sort of way, rang him up and took the hundred. Then it turned out she didn't have enough change. So, she puts the hundo in the drawer, closes it and screams at the top of her voice to the manager for change while still looking at the guy, his kids and me. Manager yells back "We ain't got no change for a hundred!"

Guy's pissed and wants his money back. I'm about to fall over from exhaustion and hunger. And Miss Cashier just standing there like the kids from Good Burger.

I ask her if I can be rung up on a different register. She looks at me like I ain't shit and says, "Nope. I gotta take care of this first." I say to put me on the drive-thru register. "Nope."

I grumpily said "All I want is that chicken sandwich and an orange juice, and I'm out of here. No hassles, I've got the money. Please put me on the drive-thru register."

"Nope."

Boom. While ranting loudly about Miss Cashier's wilful incompetence, I called her a c**t, to the obvious glee of the guy and his teenage kids, just as the manager walked up to the front. Manager told me to get out and started walking around the counter, so I shut my mouth and left.

Never going back to that place again.

I love how in amp's descrition it's like the word c**t crept up on him and ambushed the conversation. Great description!

My mom lives in Norway and visits me 2 or 3 times a year. This week she`s here again.
As always I had to calculate at least 36 hours to clean up my apartment.
Yesterday she came by and all she was talking about was my dirty bathroom-sink (forgot that area).

My aunt, uncle and my cousin have been staying at my house for the past week. If that wasn't bad enough, my cousin downloaded a ton of porn onto my desktop in the cleverly concealed folder "nrop", sending me over my download limit (I now have the equivalent of dial-up for the next 3 weeks), and then when he got caught, blamed me for all the porn. My aunt didn't believe my protests, and now thinks I'm a pervert.

Also, I've run out of tissues.

That's when you show her YOUR porn. Sure, she'll know you're a pervert for certain, but at least your cousin will get done too. Especially for screwing over your internets.

Also the tissues shortage might have contributed to the argument against you.

The situation is markedly different, but I've slept over at my best mate's girlfriend's house when he wasn't there. Although I had been babysitting her kids on those occasions and it was easier for me to get to work the next day from her house.

It's a matter of trust, I think. Even if she's only playing games; i.e. making you well aware that she has other options, I think the pair of you really need to be looking at your relationship. You two would definitely need to sit down and talk about it, so you both know where the other stands on the situation. Whilst you shouldn't be dwelling on the issue, you do need her to be aware that the situation makes you uncomfortable. What she does then is up to her. Laying down the law is a bad idea; she isn't your property, she's an adult who can do what she wishes.

Trust works both ways, though. If she feels you don't trust her or you feel that you can't, then you're in trouble. But imo the way to deal with insecurities of this kind is to get them out in the open. Once the subject is out in the light of day you can both work out together what needs to be done about it.

ok we had an arguemen last night and i told her i felt uncomfortable. BTW just to sum up what they did it was dinner and a film but they had to skip dinner. In my eyes this qualifies as 'date' activities. The trust thing came up and my arguement was i trust her but dont trust this guy whos very kind an carin, the phrase ' a good listener' was even thrown around. I dont know this guy but he seems the type of just a frind then if he thinks he can make his move he will. Playing the long game etc. Anyway this goes on for ages she throws the word paranoia around. I didnt rly lay down the law as stated but i did say that i know my opinion doesnt matter. She now thinks the only way she can 'solve' the issue is by not seeing him. I sed this isnt true u cud just reassure me a bit more without calling me paranoid. I was then deemed needy etc. The cycle continued till about 2 in the mornin when we kinda just let it go and moved on. I sed ill just have to get over it but it drives me mad. Theres fuck all else i can do really.

Incidentally i was once kicked out of a film for laughing too loudly

edit- My ex had also commented on my fb status aswel which atleast give her some insecirity as she seemed to think if i was goin out for dinner an a film with a girl who liked me then she would 'be ok with it'.

Move on. She wants to have her cake and to eat it too. Let the creeper have her and go find a better girl to spend time with.

What in the fucking fuck.

Your GF and her friend whould have to be like Old Souls who'd known each other for millenia, before I'd find it marginally okay for my GF to have a dinner for 2 and a movie night with a guy who's obviously into her.

This is not about being needy, this is about common sense. If you're a couple, you're a couple. Next time ask her to ask him to invite a girlfriend and you can have a couples night out or what ever. That other shit is not on.

It's not about how faithfull she knows she is in her heart. This is about the fact that she is spending an evening with another guy. And guys know guys. It's about the fact that all guys... ALL GUYS, DON'T NONE OF YOU TRY AND DENY THIS... All guys, have an agenda. It's only people on film or men who aren't really men who want to spend an evening talking and laughing over a dinner and film with a girl and not expect shit to go down 15 minutes after the lights get turned down low.

You need to explain some male psycology to this woman.

Or dump her.... yes, that is also and option... or that accident thing we talked about.

EDIT: Amph mention you were still a teenager. Oh this is so not right. One thing would be for people in their late twenties, thirties perhaps doing something like this. But teenagers? Fuck no, I wouldn't trust a teenager and a lubed up hotdog bread to be alone in a room together for 5 minutes.

Had to spend all day at fucking graduation. It wasn't as bad as expected, but still fairly dull and pointless. For some inexplicable reason I'm absolutely knackered and feel like complete shit, despite sleeping more than usual and only having sat in a chair all day. I haven't eaten anything since 10am, which could be it I spose. Gotta go back to work tomorrow, which is shit, but everything atm is shit so there's not much better alternative. It's a scary thought when you realise something you hate is actually still the most enjoyable option you have.

Re the whole Tiam thing. I don't see what the big deal is. I have a large number of male friends and a boyfriend of 10 years. I've lived in 2 houses with 6 different guys and me being the only girl. I've been on holiday with a male friend and shared a hotel room. I've had more male friends stay over at my apartment than I can remember. Never once have I even come close to being unfaithful to my boyfriend.

The intentions of a single male mean nothing if she is trustworthy. Tiam either decides he trusts her and let's her get on with it. Or he doesn't. Girls have to put up with guys hitting on them all the time. His is probably at a level that she finds tolerable and still wants to be friends with him.

^^ Agrees with Apt

Messing with my groove:

15 minutes left to the work day and not a fucking thing I can do right now other than long-term projects not best-started with 15 minutes to go in the day.

Fucking work hours are retarded. I work twice as fast as some people here but have to put in the same hours.

The whole concept of work hours is fucking gay. Work should be based on results, not time.

EDIT

@Mez

Yeah, I've let my GF (now wife) hang out with whoever she pleases, but its blown up on me twice now, where the other guy actually made a move on her.

The second time I let her know what I thought of it though...it hasn't happened since. Apt is very right. All guys have an agenda and it usually involves fucking the object of the agenda.

I very much agree with Mezla on this I could say almost exactly the same as she has just said but replacing the boys with girls. It comes entirely down to trust. If Tiam doesn't trust her then bin her off, if he does then there should be no probs

I'm agreeing with Cougar and Mezla here; either you trust her or you don't. Being prescriptive is not the way to run a relationship.

If you trust her then let her get on with it. She'll either reward your trust or she won't; either way you can't do anything about the eventual outcome other than locking her up in a room. Which isn't advisable. If you don't trust her, don't be with her; you'll just end up eating yourself apart from the inside and that's no good for a relationship in the long run.
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Yeah, but so what? What's blown up on you? Your wife is the one with the unfortunate situation of having to tell a friend that she isn't interested in sleeping with them.

Helpful stuff from Illy there.

I have to slightly disagree with Mezles here: a guy making a move on your lass if he knows you is disrespectful to you too, he's taking the piss. If he doesn't know you then tough.

Don't start with some "this is women as possesions shit either" it isn't you twatting a stranger for looking at her.

Although I'll also take issue with Cerveza too: Mrs Cougar does what she likes, I don't 'let' her do anything, it isn't my choice, it's hers. Same goes for me, I do whatever I like, if she doesn't approve or worries about me then she'll let me know but it's never her telling me and I wouldn't patronise her like that either.
