Shaving Sarah Jessica Parker's feet?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I do indeed make a rather pathetic psychopath.

You need to shave her feet to destroy her strength! She's like Samson only more manly.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

But I thought it was the hair that was her "mane" source of strength, too? ;)

Ah, puns, I love them.

I'm bummed about work tomorrow, I'd rather the weekend just lasted. Except, y'know, with work-pay still.

Welcome to the rest of your life. Sunday night always feels like that last Sunday at the end of the school summer holidays when you were a kid.

It was a shrp butter knife, and quite forceful. I don't need to be in a bubble... how would I interact with the world?! ;)

Although... then I could be tickled and poked... that would be nice, then the evil Mr Lucy could never win again! (He pokes me a lot... once managed to tickle my forehead :p )

Went back to uni yesterday. Books ended up costing the motherfucking motherload ($450 instead of the $230 it was last semester) so now my inflexible budgeting means I'm broke for the next 3 days. Sigh. Hopefully my petrol lasts. ;)

Asshole publishers. I spent over $600 bucks two semsters in law school. I was ready for murder at that point. I feel your pain, Mappo.

Yeah, professors have got me over a barrel. Especially in my ancient history course. I had to get pretty much a full set of classical Roman histories which were translated from Latin by my professor, and each one cost about $70.

On the other hand though, I've never been broke before. Couple that with semi-doting parents and appropriate moral blackmail and I have a winner. ;)

Holiday's over. Fuck. :p

Back to work in the shitty tropics in 2 weeks. Double fuck. :p :p

My Euro Sex Tour was a complete non-event, stupid European women and their "standards". Insert obvious self-contradictory exclamation here. :p

8 more hours on a plane to go, and I swear they deliberately place me near the screaming brats. 2 managed to howl at least every 10 minutes - in shifts, mind - for the whole 13 hour trip here. Little vermin should be debarked. I actully wasn't near any when I first got on the plane, but they asked me to swap with a boy much closer to them because as an "unaccompanied minor" according to company policy he couldn't sit next to an adult male. I kid you not, this is what an employee of the airlne told me quite seriously.
As I was sitting next to this quite cute Indian girl (with quite nice norks), obviously this was against the wishes of the universe and I got the shitty end of the stick again. Quite literally, as one of the screaming little parasites enjoyed puking and shitting itself continuously. WHY THE FUCK ARE THESE THINGS ALLOWED ON PLANES???!!! :p

I also find the official assumption that all males are kiddy fiddlers to be just a little bit offensive.

Clunges!

Uh, not quite. I was sitting in the window seat NEXT TO a woman, and they swapped me WITH the kid (about 10-12 years old I'd say) because he was an unaccompanied minor sitting next to a male adult.

And just now, after not having left the international departures area during my layover here - had a VERY expensive snooze in a transit lounge hotel - I had to get rid of the water bottle I had BOUGHT in there, just to get into the gate lounge. Utter fucking madness. I guess it's their little way to gouge you extra if you want any more than the miniscule amounts they dole out to you on the plane.

At least they had more free internet here in the gate lounge. :p
