Bunch of people got stabbed in the Arndale in Manchester today. I'm checking in as safe but hope the rest of you are ok...

Apparently not a terrorist incident now. He has been detained under the Mental Health Act. If this was America I'd suggest that means he is white skinned but I dunno. We're generally quite good with MH legislation here. Or at least a lot better than we used to be. Thankfully I don't think anyone died.

Some events like that really are just things you can't predict/prevent, just mitigate as best you can afterward. Hope everything turns out okay for everyone involved.

BK, I'm asking this in genuine curiosity, what took you to a Trump ray after everything the man has said and done in the last 3 years?

Im looking at my reference letter from my boss, he edited the first draft very slightly and now I cant shake the feeling that maybe these minor changes are very significant. Dropped some 'Very's etc and now I have become aware of the secret language of reference letters (which i imagine actually leads to a great deal of miscommunication when people try and interpret these things) and Im wondering if its reads as well as it seems to.
Anyone an expert?

Not much experience, but there is often more info in these through what is not being said than in whzt it actually states.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Had one of my wisdom teeth removed this morning. I was in and out of the dentist in 30 minutes which was a pleasant surprise and it wasn't as traumatic as I imagined. The slow unveiling of pain and swelling as the anaesthetic has worn off, slightly more traumatic than imagined. Oh my god it hurts like a mother fucker. And I look like a hamster packing a lot of nuts in one cheek. Sleepless night ahead.

Did you not get given some good pain killers?
A good anti inflammatory is more important than a pain killer I found for my wisdom teeth. The damaged gums swell and they swell into each other. That caused more pain than the wound itself. My painkillers didnt help untill I took the anti inflammatory

Be mindful of dry socket. Keep it packed properly and make sure not to suck to hard on anything. No strong pulls on your favorite vape pen, if that is your thing.

I have started to suffer very badly with ibuprofen side effects if I take more than one dose. I get a terrible headache and nausea after I stop taking them. So I'm doing it with plain old paracetamol and a dose of ibuprofen to help me at bedtime. I had a heck of a lot of pain relief over the last few months so I can tough it out.
I have 4 stitches in there and the one closest to the inside of my cheek feels like when you have a hair stuck in your mouth and you can't get it out. Retch.
