Work is Evil! To be honest I dont think its particularly hard, in fact its pretty easy at the moment as they slowly introduce me to the work. I think I just sat on my ass for so long waiting for the PhD to be marked that any forced structure is hard to deal with.

Its not so much the waking up early again, its the struggle find time to do errands that recently I could do anytime I wanted. Drs appointments, dentist appointment, car maintenance etc.

Double post, does not make me feel like a winner.

There is something wrong with my left eye, trying to find time to see an ophthalmologist. When I wake up in the morning my left eye is blurry for a few minutes, this morning it was also cloudy and everything was both blurry and white. Goes away quickly but it does not fill me with confidence. During the waking day my eye seems to work perfectly but I also feel something is wrong with my left eye all day. No words to describe it exactly, but definitely feel something I shouldn't. Health has been a bit of a crappy rollercoaster lately.

That could be the start of a detached retina. You might want to get it checked rtf now.

Work is horrendous this week.

Was up till 10.30 last night marking drawings
Looks like it's heading the same way tonight

The electrical supplier still hasn't switched us on which puts us in a bind for commissioning because none of the AC or mechanical guys will commission off a generator.
Can't wait till Thursday afternoon so I can go to the airport and fly away from it all for a few days.

Until next week when I'm being thrown at another job, 3 times the size as this one, while trying to get this job handed over and finished. And I just know the men I'm going to get for the other job are going to be fucking useless

I've seen you make a lot of these posts over the years, Macros. Do they pay you extremely well or are you just a masochist?

Totally agree that you need to get it checked asap.

Some people need it direct man. Just make it explicitly clear.

Big condolences, BK.

And yah there's hella world events that are just devastating right now. Both big Mexican earthquakes, the Bangladesh flooding, the Rohingya genocide in Myanmar, the continuing hurricane bombardment, the casual threat by a world leader to genocide all of North Korea.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I have been pulling so many 12 hour days lately that I simply have not had time to clean up. I am literally living in a dump.

If you're literally living in a dump then there should be workers whose job it is to organize the refuse.

Long life bk

My complaint is small but wow! A bunny park in my city has 2000 more bunnies then they need. They decided to donate the bunnies to the local zoo to feed the lions and bears etc. People have reacted like my government said it's gonna start rounding up the homeless and executing then.

People have been saying it's cruel, that the bunnies deserve a chance at life like all animals etc. What do they think animals in the wild normally do to eat? There is talk about boycotting the bunny park, boycotting the zoo etc.

Surely these people have no connection to reality? I understand it's probably just a very vocal minority but seriously?

I am just picturing a very confused pride of lions being flooded with 2000 bunnies.

I can imagine a bunny living comfortably in a bunny park, upon finding itself in the lion enclosure of the local zoo, would have some important questions of its own regarding its circumstances.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I would watch the fight between 2000 bunnies and 5 lions

Also just to be clear. The bunnies will be euthanized before being fed to the lions.
