Any Canadians on here living in or near Medicine Hat? Apparently you're not supposed to know about this:

Somehow bent the front tire on my new-ish bike. Unlike last time, I managed to avoid screaping off 20% of my skin during the fall, as I pretty much landed on my feet. Still, can't be good for my definitely-not-quite-healed pulled groin.

More to the point, ended up wheeling the bike home like a wheelbarrow for the last 2 clicks or so. Now running late for evening stuff.

I just found out that my mom gave away all of my grandpa's beer steins when she moved here... She claims that she doesn't remember my REPEATEDLY asking for them.... *heartbroken*

That happened to me once in my garage. It was a wolf spider so I didn't think anything of it looking a little fuzzy, but then I saw them spread.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I have a spider outside my window.
It's the greatest. I can observe it brutally murdering and eating insects everyday. It caught a butterfly three times its size yesterday and has been nibbling on it since.

I had a pet baboon spider when I was a kid. We fed it other spiders, it was great.

Spiders are totally metal.
I have no idea how they eat chitin though.

The aforementioned bent bike tire is putting a serious spanner in my plans for today. Combined with the lousy Sunday bus scheduling. Timing on pretty much everything is off.

Internet's down in the entire area. Of course, right when I need it. Try sending image files via mobile connection *sigh*

Bikes should come with spare tires like cars do.

There are kits for flats, tears, even warped spokes, but bend a tire and yeah, you're walking.

Bending a tyre is relatively easily fixed Abyss, rubber is incredibly flexible.
Bending a wheel however? Well that's a different kettle of fish.

What messing with my groove.
I want to get away home on Thursday.
Haven't done a tap at work yet, still waiting on materials delivery.
Also the contracts manager measured up the cabling for the air con nits on the roof, he always measures things too tight, thinking to cut costs. Cables too short, now going to have to wait a day or two for more. Just fucking over measure. Whatever he's saved the last few jobs by trimming things so tight has just been wasted and more, fucking tit. This is why you don't measure tight off drawings, site conditions are never exactly as per on and existing install. Let me do my job properly and do all the measuring and ordering the second I arrive on site, its what you pay me to do!
And why cant german just have one word for "the". Awkward bastards.

Exhausted after the super-busy weekend (yest night when I came home from the game I had to do a bunch of taping, since my mom decided she wants to paint a bunch of bathrooms before her vacation, and I supposedly lay masking tape much more accurately)

Re-caffeinating my brain slowly, but it's a real struggle to get into working this morning.

This day is killing me. I may see my clever girl tonight, but that is up in the air. And the day is just crawling by...

Oh and I hate this rotation to boot.

How the hell am I supposed to keep my blood pressure under control if I have to deal with these chumps????
