My friend's mother, who has depression, hasn't been answering her phone. She also slipped and hit her head earlier. No response in 3 hours. I'm really worried.

Today has been a less than pleasant day, woke up stupidly early and couldn't get back to sleep, took my car in for a service as the oil light came on on my way home from work Monday (didn't drive ir Tuesday), get a call from the mechanic, the engine has seized and needs to be replaced, my rent payments went wonky and I have had the money returned, but didn't notice so I am behind on my rent (at least i can rectify this one) and I have a chest infection thing so my voice is gone and I have lots of work to catch up on.

Not a happy panda today

Car is going to be expensive to fix :p Luckily I have awesome friends helping me out and my folks if I need financial help.

Can't say that I'm looking forward to become old. Since the start of the sumer my grandmother lost two of her brothers and now my grandfather has lost his last living brother. He was closing in on 90 years and have been sick since a stroke 2 years ago, but still I liked the man and I can't be there for the funeral.

I swear that there's a freeway here that must have been designed by Crowley. It's backed up all the time, like say 4 am (for some reason), there's always accidents and it is consistently faster to take small 50 KPH side roads.
