Every movie released in 3D also has a 2D counterpart. Dropped my dad's car off at the mechanic ans they asked me if I wanted a ride home, which I declined thinking that I could take the C line straight home from about 3 blocks away.

I had forgotten that it is a commuter bus, and so stops running at like 8:30AM. So I get to walk a loong way home.

34 in a 25(because, apparently, its a school zone). But it was at 9 o'clock at night.

Flipping computer systems... A woman I have never met decided to clean up some rota system on work and it effectively cancelled all my leave despite me booking my tickets home... I had a big long conversation with my Sarge about it and I think it has been sorted but I have nothing left at all until April after Christmas, and I had a couple of days left I was going to take off around my birthday... Oh well, it could have ended up a lot worse!

^ Same in Ohio. The decrease is only in affect during school hours (7am-3pm, I believe).

Although, if you get caught speeding in a school zone you get MASSIVE fines.

Why am I surrounded by fricking idiots? So many people at work can't get the simplest shit right because they're too fucking stupid and/or too fucking lazy. Then I have to come along and fix it all up with bugger-all time to do so, and they're expecting me to work back to do so. Plus the higher-ups keep scheduling stupid pointless shit that we all have to attend so that eats into our deadlines.

Seriously, the process is you check shit out thoroughly and then sign for it, take care of it then it gets signed back in. How fucking difficult is that? Apparently it's beyond most people.

Oh my god, tell me about it. It's a miracle we've survived this long. I don't understand how humanity has made any advances at all sometimes.
