Last exam went terrible on tuesday. My lecturers dont seem to be bothered about my all my stuff being robbed including my laptop and notes (which were in my bag which they used to steal my laptop ironically). This is a shame because I was really hoping to scrape a first for my degree but thats not going to happen after the epic failure of my exam.

I also have a two day hangover from drinking heavily on tuesday but am worried about needing to look for a job.

On the other hand I also have enough time for a DOD TCG reread

Those weird americans don't want Cheryl Cole Tweedy Cole on the X-factor jury :apt:

I mean, ok, her singing career is a bit lagging and solely aimed at fourteen year olds, but not only is she a real looker, she's also so incredibly charming as a talent judge, just brings a smile to your face even though you can only understand half of what she says... And she's capable of kicking Simon Cowell's ass. Which alone ought to get her a lot of respect... horrible person that he is.

I know there were tornado warnings for the Chico region on Tuesday. I don't know about the rest of the north state, though it was likely for the entire north valley. There's been a few small ones before.

I had that exact same problem earlier, a hot water bottle has gone a ways to help. (and some dairy free cake, that had nothing to do with the foot but it did make me feel better)

Had to come home from work this morning and have been in bed since, I'm feeling ridiculously tired out.

Today the guy I pissed on tried to extort the right to sleep in my bed in exchange for not Pressing charges. I told him to go fuck himself and that's extortion.

About 3-4 hours of Saturday night are completely blank for me. I've no idea what I've done or where I've been or how I got home.

I think I'll lay off the alcohol for the time being.

He can sing all he likes whenever he likes, and if he dreams of a career and works to achieve it, more power to him. I doubt miss Cole would disagree about that. What she disagrees with is that he should do it on 'her' (read: Cowell's) show.

It is a simple fact in life that if you participate in a TV talent show, you will be criticized not just on the quality of your singing but even more on how well a mainstream record label can market you, and how many people will send in text messages to see you through to the next round.

That is her job there: sifting out the good from the bad, the marketable from the not marketable and the mainstream from the niche, so that in the end there's a winner who will sell singles, make 1 cd that will sell well, and who is easily displaced and forgotten by his own clone the time next year's competition comes around. It is not fair. It is TV.
