this 4-day weeknd, coupled with a major assignmnet due on Monday has really thrown off my routine schedule.
on top of which, I feel so incredibly lazy right now, I don't want to do anything. including writing the goddamn memo.
and yet I need to get it done. because tomorrow I have to work. and then it'll be an even worse time to not write it.

got the first dradft done. for some odd reason, i'm about 50 times more productive when I write stuff on paper than when I type.

my internet is being super-slow. and it asked me to restart my modem. I have a strong feeling they're trying to give me a subtle hint that I haven't paid my i-net bill since September, when I got my nets installed. Of course, theis completely neglects the fact that i've been checking my mail nearly religiously, and the bastards haven't actually sent me the damn bill.
and it's now 2 AM and their office is closed, so i can't call them and yell at them now whilst i'm partially drunk.

Spent 9 hours on the bus yesterday to visit an uncle, who received word from his doctors on Friday that he has about two weeks left to live. He's got a rare type of cancer, which he could have survived just fine if his asshole doctor hadn't kept postponing the necessary operation.
This also brings back a lot of feelings I haven't dealt with since my father died of cancer in April. In addition, a close childhood friend of mine committed suicide just two weeks after my father passed away...it's been a rough year. And it's not over yet.
Also, there's something stuck under the B-key on my laptop.

So, why don't you take the two-hour trainride to come meet me, douchebag? Why should it always be me who wastes time riding the train around. But no, can't be bothered to waste your precious time.. Not taking into consideration that with the shiny car you've got you'd need half the time it takes me by train.. Know what? Sometimes I can't be bothered, too.
