I worked a terrible job today that further injured my already busted wrist. Popping Motrin pills like they're going out of style.

See if you can get one of those carpal tunnel wrist supports. Or boxing wraps - lots of those. It's not much in the way of alleviating the pain, but it's something to take a little of the demand off the wrist.

Or wear one of those Hulk arms.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Idiots next door are playing James Blunt "Goodbye my lover" at an annoying volume ie any volume where James Blunt can be heard. :)

Going out field next week for 4 days. And it's completely unnecessary. Oh well, might get some good reading done.

Its 5:22 AM and I am awake. :)

But, sunrise is in 20 minutes and some. And it has been quite a while since I've seen one.

Had practical assessment in Bridgend town centre. This was the first time we had all been out in uniform working with members of the public. It was hard work, and now my back aches (from being on my feet for hours) and I screwed up a couple of times. Knackered now...

Somehow threw my back out. Which is weird, because the last 24 hours have been about as non-strenuous as I've had in weeks.

One of my wisdom teeth is fucking up and I'm in the US and hope I don't have to find some kind of emergency dental care! On the plus side, you can get more interesting pain relief in this country. I underestimated the benzocain gum gel and lost the feeling in 50% of my mouth :)

Just in case: N02 for the win, Mezla.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Wouldn't your company refund any medical expenses you make on the trip?

It, is raining and miserable again. :)

Don't worry, if worse comes to worst I'm sure they let student parking inspectors retest ... :)

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Damn. Didn't rain nearly that bad when I was whining about it.

Think of it this way though: At least you don't live in Milan. If you did, and it flooded like that you'd be on rafts made of the bodies of tourists, reenacting Starship Troopers as wave after wave of bloodthirsty rats swims towards you. :)

Karate Kid 1 and 2 were playing back to back last night. I wasn't the best around. Couldn't watch. :)

Is that how they spell it in Oz? It's spelled Stolichnaya here, MTS. And, empty bottles are just a reminder that: (1) you had fun last night and, (2) buy another bottle.
