If we had jobs destroying the souls of other people, we'd all be working instead of slacking off on the internet.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

My hamster is sick. I think he has mites. I want what's best for the little guy but I called the vet and they want 35$ just for a consultation never mind the treatments and money is tight for me right now. I'm gonna try some home treatments I found alone. Maybe size does no matter I would pay for a dog and thats what my GP charges me but for a hamster it just seems to expensive.

So, got woken up at 4 AM by my own violent sneezes. Staggered around the dark room trying to find the light switch while having my head whiplashed back and forth by a sneeze a second fit. After getting the light on, trying to find my allergy medication through blinking eyes which are literally streaming tears. I couldnt even put on my glasses because my head was rocking so violently they wouldnt have stayed on. Finally got my antihistamines, took the prescribed one tablet, then after ten minutes realised, that nothing is stopping. So I took a second tablet even though I risk abruptly falling asleep later. Its 6.45 AM now. Been awake since then trying to breathe through obstructed passages. May also be losing my voice. Already got a severe headache due to all the sneezing.

Step one: get new colleague.
Step two: start training new colleague (just enough to figure he's decent at the job, which is awesome compared to our last hire).
Step three: watch new colleague quit for medical reasons.
Fml.
Can't we just get decent staff who stick around?!?!

Got my first College complaint today.
I've been kind of expecting it might come. I fired a patient because she refused to get her contagious disease treated and I have to protect my other patients. Her son was with her and started yelling at me, looming over me to intimidate me, threatening me and so on. It was so bad I had to pull one of the other doctors over for help, which actually slowed him down a little because he couldn't loom over both of us at the same time. (He's >6ft tall and we are both these tiny little Asian ladies.) So we fired him too for abusive behaviour. He was so threatening and harassing in the ensuing weeks that we had to call the cops on him. It's all documented up the wazoo, and I had a waiting room full of witnesses and even a drug rep in the hallway who saw part of it, so I think I have enough to defend myself with. But it still means going through the whole professional complaint and discipline process. Merry Christmas!

That really stinks. You're doing the right thing for your patients and for yourself - and even for the patient herself. But the stress, the attitude and the situation of this made the patient and her son act abominably when rejected.
I'm sorry that happened. Did you get a jolt of cheer from something else to help the day turn out a bit better?
