I'm taking a week off from booze due to kidney pains as well as being too poor right now.

I MISS BOOZE AND IT'S ONLY BEEN EIGHT HOURS

BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Because they decided not to since it falls on a Saturday this year.

Anzac Day is a national public holiday in Australia and New Zealand, and is commemorated by both countries on 25 April every year to honour members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I and also to commemorate the soldiers who fought in France and Belgium.

there you go ;)

Lest we forget.

Who cares that it falls on a Saturday? That's ANZAC day man. Dumb ass Rudd government.

Lest we forget indeed.

That's weird...I live in Canberra atm, and I get the day off uni on Monday for ANZAC day, and I go to a federally-endorsed university. So I don't think it's the Government. Maybe some people aren't giving it, and others are? Who knows.

My groove is all out of whack because I have a uni assignment due on Wednesday that I forgot to do over the break. Sigh.

Nope - ANU, I'm an (ex) ANUS. Some might argue the "ex" part. ;)

We almost had UCan named Southern Highlands Institute of Technology, until some bureaucrat realised the acronym. :p

La Sombra, lived at Toad Hall. Yep, it exists

It's a hall of residence, behind the Union, just off Barry Drive. For SHAME, boy! Your penance is to get drunk there by the banks of the mighty Sullivans' Creek on the first night of winter. ;)

Oh, I never go near the Union so that's probably why lol. I only spend time on res around Bruce and Burgmann Halls and UniLodge outside of classes.

Not at all. You're being most alive when you're wasted, living life to the full. Although you do spend a lot of time on recovery...

No joke: I know a guy who studied at the Toyko Institute of Technology.

Too bad he's an older family friend and not someone I can bellow "TITS" at during parties.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Bloody philosophy dissertation is progressing sloooowly. To be on time I need to have done 3000 wordsof it by now, instead I've managed 1000. Heidegger is too boring, bah.

Philosophy? Add beer and you get this:

Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable.

Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table.

David Hume could out-consume
Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel,

And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.

There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'Bout the raising of the wrist.
Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed.

John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.

Plato, they say, could stick it away--
Half a crate of whisky every day.

Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle.
Hobbes was fond of his dram,

And René Descartes was a drunken fart.
'I drink, therefore I am.'

Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed,
A lovely little thinker,
But a bugger when he's pissed.

:p

Oh right, I'm supposed to be depressed... um....my leg hurts?
Suck it Errant!
