I had a really awesome weekend :)

Friday was great, and thanks to Centz I had a surprise visit from two of my best friends from home (I used to live on the other side of the continent), was really awesome to see them. We went out for a tasty lunch, chatted muchly and picked Shiara up from work. Then we had people over for drinks and it was a wonderful night :D Was really good to see my two friends from Perth make friends with lots of my friends here :)

Saturday was fairly lazy, and the interstate guests were staying with us (Shiara knew they were coming, as did apparently a fair few people on here :p) so chatting and catching up. Some people went shopping for hot new clothes, so saturday night we went out for a few drinks to the two coolest bars here (Mana Bar and Cloudland). When we got home we proceded to play drinking poker and talk and yell and generally have fun.

Sunday and monday were pretty lazy, more chatting and stuff. With a really, really tasty roast on sunday night cooked by Shiara. It turned out pretty perfect, despite that while she was trying to finish cooking on our electric cook top and in our electric oven we lost power half a dozen times and had to call an emergency electrician out :p

My friends went back on monday night, didn't get to see them off at the airport as I had a jewellery lesson (which is also going pretty well, thanks Shiara :)), but that's okay, was sooooooooo good to see them. Though as one of them said, the crappy thing about it is it reminds her how much she misses having me around. I agree, it's absolutely worth it though :)

This :p It is nice when a plan works so well!

Played my first ranked match on my League of Legends team, which we sooooo barely won. Not really thanks to me, but a win is a win.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Gonna brag on my wife a little more.
I asked her what she wanted to watch during detox Wednesday and she asked if we could have a Lord of the Rings marathon. Um, yes....yes we can.
She even wanted to watch the 2 discs worth of special features for each one.
I'm a lucky, lucky man.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Sitting in an empty cinema with a massive box of popcorn, a supersized coke and The Grey about to start. If I was a man Liam Neeson would totally be my man crash :)
