One of my turtles, Tarquin, is a little under the weather and so he has to be dry-docked, kept dry, at the moment. Since I don't have a spare tank I'm just letting him wander around the house. I momentarily forgot this so when I walked past his tank just now and it was turtle-free I totally panic. Let me share -
*notices Tarquin isn't in his tank*
Where the....?
KALAM!!!!
*walks into loungeroom and sees Kalam sitting in middle of loungeroom*
*common sense starts to seep in*
Wait, you couldn't have gotten him out, you'd have fallen in and got wet for sure. Damnit! Tarquin where are you?
*proceeds to look EVERYWHERE for turtle, panic raising*
*looks at Kalam*
Don't just sit there help me find him. Come on! Kalam, come here. Come here! Kitty. Kitty?
*walks over and picks up Kalam, finds turtle*
Sometimes I think they do these things on purpose.
*notices Tarquin isn't in his tank*

Not so much sitting, as curled up. It seems that so long as Tarquin is stationary Kalam is brave....the moment Tarquin starts moving though Kalam meows like a little bitch and runs away.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I've always liked the video clip for Celebrity as well

Though the implied sex scene between Shatner and the old chick is kinda scary :S

The girls arrived last night and are settling in. Today is "desk and kitchenware-buying", tomorrow is "uniform and school fees" (no I won't post pics of the teenage girl in the Catholic school uniform you filthy bastards), then the stuff from Canberra arrives on Thursday ...
This family shit is exhausting!

Ha ha ha - I knew I'd hear from you, SB. I'd guess you favor the classics of C/W music - ie Hank, Conway, Merle, etc. Or is it the later generation of Garth, Travis, & co.? Do you realize that the pop trend of country will blend it into mainstream pop enough that our children will not know about "cry in your beer" songs? Ah, the generic bland tastes of the corporate music monster never cease grinding out crap.
When I was a kid, Mom played Marty Robbins, Johnny Horton, Oak Ridge Boys, & others so I remember the difference.

I love all of it up until around 2000, when Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, TIm McGraw, etc.. starting getting popular is when i stopped listening to "popular" country music. Even old school guys like Alan Jackson and George Strait play crap now.
Theres still good stuff being put out, its just not on the radio anymore. Unless you live in Texas.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Country music is far too diverse to describe. No one music video clip is going to adequately portray all the types (unless youtube lied to me when I went to try and find one....).
We can't just listen to Hank, Buck, Merle, Waylon and Charlie all the time. Music progresses.
But don't worry, SB, the song on my playlist before Online was Mama Tried and the one that followed it was Pancho & Lefty XD

I'm happy because all my internet dropout issues should be over as of Friday - they are replacing the pole today and tomorrow.
