It's the most amazing thing to put seeds in dirt, add some water and a few days later you have little green sprigs of life poking their way out of the soil :p

Indianapolis is going to put on a hell of a show for the Super Bowl.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Tonight, the Mrs and I are heading out to see Mozart's REQUIEM at the TSO.

Did I mention that I LOVE the symphony?

I would dearly love to see that in concert, as opposed to on CD. If you are not familiar with this piece, take some antidepressants and tissues with you.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

I had a lovely evening with some friends - homecooked roast dinner, sorbet, wine and Dr Who.

Very nice indeed :p

Oh, I'm familiar. LOL. the Mrs and i are both super dork Mozart fans, but this is one that they rarely perform so when the tickets arose I snapped those bad boys up. Can't wait!

This reminds of when I was a little kid.

We had a small pond with goldfish in it and suddenly there were less of them until all of the goldfish were gone.

Turned out that my dad had bought a turtle and had put it in the same pond without thinking that the turtle might eat the goldfish.

Ah, the good old days when we had three of them (those with a red dot on their cheeks when it wasn't forbidden yet to keep them).
My dad would water the plants with a big hose during the summer and the lawn would become kind of a small swamp, my brother and I got them out of their pond and they all would race along the lawn.

Who said these turtles were slow? :p
Sappers have a saying, he muttered. "Wide eyed stupid"
