I bought a 3D printer, I cant reely say what the moment was that made me change from I know they exist to I want to buy one but I got it in my head to print draw orginization. I am really impressed with the simple plug and play nature of the printing. The 3d Printer itself has impressed me with its design, quality as well with little touches like magnet closing doors or a premium feeling hex tool etc just making it feel like a premium product.

Time will tell if its a fad or a genuine hobby but I am having a blast so far printing a few fun things just to practice (toilet roll sheep) and am now printing some tools that will make the printer a little easier to use (Scraper, plastic poop chute etc).

I wonder where we will be in ten years.

What make and model did you get? I'm considering one at some point.

I got the Bambu P2S.

Everyone I spoke to human and AI told me Bambu was best for a beginner. The a1 made me think if I enjoyed printing I'd regret not getting something better and would kick myself if I upgraded right away. I think p1s is a great option but with the current sale it was 100 dollars difference to step up to the P2S. Almost like they plan this.

It's only been 2 days of actual printing but so far I have made a poop chute, a scraper, toilet roll sheep, some gridfinitiy, a clip for a chips bag,. Super impressed how well it works and how easy it was to get started. I'll play around with more advanced stuff eventually but you could get away with just printing stuff off your phone forever.

Gridfinity is my main use case I think. I think I'm going to like it.

Elegoo Centurion Combo 2 here... wanted an enclosure and air filter, that could do multi-colour. So far very impressed/satisfied. Have printed some tools, stands, far far too many fidget toys. I debate whether i should have gone w one that could do resin too but the price increase made me draw the line. Am dangerously close to doing nothing but Lego minifigures for the next six months.

Y'all ever treat yourself to a new toothbrush before the recommended replacement date of your current toothbrush? What a thrill!

I hate flossing (sticking my hands in my mouth? madness (only my feet belong in there!)) so I got a water flosser. Bit like a bidet for your mouth.

Treat yo self!

But no, I’m not that extravagant. I usually use one way past it’s expiration.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
